@Thomas,
Yesterday is easy to remember.

2 coffees/1.5 tsp sugar total

1 piece of cinnamon raisin toast with thin but real butter

lunch at a chinese restaurant we picked because of a story I read about Jackie Chan always going there and getting to cook with the chef. This could go either way, my not liking virtually any chinese food here so far. But then there are lots of restaurants to check.

So, it was good, nice atmosphere, tasty food. Fun. Didn't score on my omg list, but good; I'm sure we'll go back.

So, I had General Tao tofu with broccoli and spicy peppers, and enough rice to feed an army, which followed appetizers for the three of us - potstickers (excellent) and chinese fried bread with cream (ok, didn't finish it) Took a lot home....

and had the rest for dinner. Except I still have rice left in the box.

Later in the day, a glass of white wine/ice.

Um. I have to remember that everything I don't cook myself is probably filled with lurking danger.
B: regular
E: ran 6.2 miles while listening to a weird book on ... well, even that's hard to explain.
L: (with Dagmar) A huge plate of every kind of Indian food with rice.
Also had the ice cream.
Snack: Cheese and crackers and a coffee. And a nap.

D: Boiled Shrimp and a bit of bread. Some wine.

I have missed a few days.
Super sick baby Sad

yesterday

b- grilled cheese sandwich

l- a box of baby tomatos , a small box of blue berries
a few hours later a hamburger. The patty is a precooked low fat lean meat about 80 calories a patty. VERY good.
On thin wheat bread and a slice of cheese. Nothing else. Yummmmm.

d-about a handful of steamed raddish and a few bites of steamed blue potatoes with salt.

exercise -
weights. My arms are killing me.
Today is hooping class so I will get to balance that out.
I work out my arms and shoulders every other day and hoop for my hips and waist on the opposite days.
My body is exhausted lately with that 5lb hoop, but I feel wonderful.

@shewolfnm,
Ohhh. I hope da Bean is better. And you, too. Getting used to weights ain't easy.

Thomas, should we start a second topic for the BMI countdown extravaganza/bet/mutual admiration society?

Yesterday:
Breakfast: Cheerios Cereal, 1 cup
Fish Oil Capsule
sensible foods apple harvest, 1 serving
sensible foods cherry berry, 1 serving

Lunch: Chicken Breast, no skin, 4 ounces
Spinach, 2 c
Brown Rice, medium grain, 1 cup
Cucumber (with peel), 1 cup slices
Hoisin Sauce, 2 tbsp

Dinner: Broccoli, fresh, 1 cup
Chicken Breast, no skin, 4 ounces
Walnuts, 0.5 oz (7 halves)
14 oz mixed greens salad
Skim Milk, 1 cup

Snack: Fruit Salad, 1 1/4 cup
1 pear, medium
Yogurt, Stonyfield Farm fat free plain (6 oz)

CALORIES 1514 CARBS 234 g FAT 24 g PROTEIN 100 g Sodium 2331 mg

Lunch was Slippery Chicken at a Chinese place we haven't been to for over a year. I asked them to just separate out the component parts: steamed chicken, steamed spinach and hoisin sauce, then I combined them myself on the plate. The cukes were the appetizer, made with rice wine vinegar and little slivers of ginger and carrot, tiniest bit of oil, way less than a teaspoon for the whole shebang. It'll all be lunch today. It was awesome and I'm psyched that we can go back to the Chinese place. RP in particular was really missing it.

Lunch: 3/4 lb burger meal at Wendy's, the drink being Diet Coke, the side being Cesar Salad. No fries, though I was tempted.

Dinner: Thai. Appetizer was a Buddha roll (basically a vegetarian egg roll with this semi-transparent wrapping instead of the deep fried dough); Entree was tofu with all kinds of vegetables; desert was half a mango with sticky, sweetish rice.

Okay. I am way behind on reports. Mostly because I have been eating everything within reach.
Had lunch with Dagmar on Friday.
Dinner with Thomas on Saturday.
Had Oscar night with friends on Sunday.
Was especially careful yesterday.
Still up three and half since last week.
Despite twelve miles (total) running in that time period.
Must have been the wine.
Or the pistachio ice cream.
Or, at dinner with Thomas, the Steak au poivre and much cheesy onion soup.
Oscar night? Shorts ribs, hot apple/cabbage coleslaw and much much more.
Better days coming.
