coffee with sugar

b- steel cut oats + honey

l - hand full of small sweet red tomatos, 1 box of raisins, 2 pieces of pita bread with greek olive hummus spread .

Well, that was sort of lunch/dinner.

I went to the doc yesterday and she thinks I may have an ulcer .Hopefully it is just the virus and no physical damage has happened IF that is what is going on... That explains the pain when I eat.. and over the past week or so, the best thing i have been eating ( meaning it doesnt hurt) are super cold things like ice cream, icy water and smooth foods. >blaaaahhhh

@shewolfnm,
Yikes. Well, if it is, I'm hoping it's the kind that can be treated with an antibiotic.
Not all that long ago, one of the main causes of ulcers was found to be a bacterium (starts with h, I forget), though not all ulcers.

Good luck, wolfie...

B: same as usual
S: coffee and a bagel/strawberry jam
L: chef salad, the rest of the coffee
D: Hamburger made with hot salsa, tomato, ginger ale
S: lowfat sorbet - chocolate - 2 Tsps - what a treat!

I love February. February is when all the people who were crowding the weight line in the gym have given up. I had a nice workout last night. Curls, Pulldown, Chest press, Shoulder Press and only had to wait for the crunch machine. I increased my weightload on all of them. Oh, did the pressdown/pull up machine too. Hmmm. Muscle weighs more than fat. Mebbe why my glide path seems to be flattening with my stomach???

No phone call yesterday.
If I dont hear from doc this afternoon, she said to call. So Im crossing my fingers.

No belly pain this morning though so far.
In fact, I had no belly pain last night either.

b- steamed radish, raisins, Foccia bread, carroway seed bread with peanut butter. That carroway bread is amazing and it was a waste to have it coated with peanut butter. Plumb, coffee + sugar

l- baked beans, baby tomatoes, pita bread with hummus, carrots, and another slice of Foccia bread.

d- scoop of ice cream. More steamed radishes, and an entire bunch of red chard.

no exercise except cleaning. 3 jobs in one day!

Another low calorie day; this is all a make up for the past couple of weeks, plus we have the gathering this weekend. You really aren't supposed to "bank" calories, and I don't intend to overeat, but I do expect that there may be hidden sauces that I can't account for this weekend.

Blood test says no ulcer. Yay!
But that does not explain the pain , which is going away, nor does it explain the extreme dizzy feelings..
I call her back today and see what the next plan of action is going to be.
Anemia test was normal.
b12 levels were a bit low , but nothing diet wont help.
So..we shall see .

b- steel cut oats with honey

l/d home made pizza. White flour dough, toppings- portabella mushrooms, red bell pepper, orange bell pepper, fresh ( cut right from the plant) Italian basil, garlic, bacon and provolone cheese.

It was lunch and dinner because I made it at 1:30 and ate half of it over the course of 2 hours. It was not big, about the size of a dinner plate. But I didnt need to eat again for the rest of the day. I just didnt feel hungry.

late snacks- banana , handfull of baby tomatos

not enough water yesterday

@George,
Wed., Feb 4

Coffee w/splash lf milk, x 2 mugs

wedge of ricotta torte (mixed greens, onions)

leftover fettucine w/vegetable tomato sauce and parmigiano

gerolsteiner/ice

package of the dreaded delicious kashmir spinach paneer (too much salt - but now I've researched the homemade paneer recipe and it's easy)

glass Fish Eye Chard on ice

Oh, and over the last two days I've cooked up a batch of slow cooked-in-sugar water orange peels (just the outside) from an old Joy of Cooking recipe - tried a few of them last night, delicious snack.

Hey, George - I finally relented (re money) and ordered a pair of Nike Air Motos.
