not a weight loss diet, a rela diet where i dont eat fast food aka mcdonalds etc..

cutting down on sugar and salt.

pretty much. i am going calorie deficient though, get rid of any extra fat i might have.

3 bowls of rice a day, plus some fruit and veggies.

at least for a month.

oh and fish, i dont know how to cook it tho so.. that leads to a new post!

This is the part that won't work.
To take weight off and keep it off requires a permanent change of eating habits.

@OGIONIK,
I thought you said it wasn't a weight-loss diet.

If a set of eating habits would leave you skeletal, but you're only going to keep
those habits for three weeks, then I would call that a weight-loss diet. No?

@OGIONIK,
Well, yeah, but my my point is this. You go on this fat-loss diet for three weeks.
You lose fat. (And possibly some muscle mass. Maporsche can speak to that.)
You resume your normal eating habits. The fat returns. Diets don't work.

Eat well, but less, exercise more than whatever you have been doing. Increase that as you feel able.

Reduce fats but don't eliminate them,

balance, balance, balance... .

B: toast, coffee (Yea!! The new espressomaker is here!!) and grapefruit.
L: two eggs, cottage cheese, cabbage sprouts, wheat bread.
S: apple muffin
D: Chicken. (I had a meeting that lasted until after 9:30pm, so all I ate was a leg and thigh before doing some writing and falling into bed.)

Please dear god someone hang me out to dry.

Yesterday was the worst food day I have had in months.

I made Swedish meatballs.. a traditional way ( explained by a Swede.. fresh off the boat)
More butter then should be allowed in ANYTHING was what you cooked those little buggers in.

Man they were good.

That threw off my blood sugar though and I was craving sugars/starch like there was no tomorrow.

Shared some ice cream.

Now, I feel like I have a hang over. My head hurts, my body feels dry .. just... yuck

I cleared out my little living room so I can hoop inside and get some exercise with out having to be out in 30 degree weather.

estimated calories for yesterday - A metric butt ton
Exercise - cooking, some hooping, lots of laughter
Fat- Enough to saturate Rosie O'Donell.
Salt- Enough to rival Utah

@Joe Nation,
Yep, balance is the key. Getting rid of all fats will make you miserable and your food will in general be unsatisfying (you'll end up intaking more calories in order to achieve satiety). Plus -- in particular this time of year -- you'll get dry skin and hair.

Yesterday:
Breakfast: 2 Instant Oatmeal packets
Walnuts, 0.5 oz (7 halves)

Lunch: Chicken Breast, no skin, 4 ounces
Smart Balance Buttery Spread, 1 tbsp
Broccoli, fresh, 1 cup
Baked Potato, with skin, 1 large

Dinner: Skim Milk, 1 cup
14 oz mixed greens salad
Low Sodium Matzoh Balls, 1 serving
Slow Cooker Penicillen, 1 serving
Rice Cakes, 2 cakes
Guacamole, 1 serving

Snack: Fruit Salad, 1 cup
Stonyfield Farm Fat Free chocolate, 6 oz
Oranges, 1 large
