Cheerios for breakfast.
Pear, pomegrante, orange juice, with peanut butter on toast. That was lunch.
Grilled burgers, baked fresh Michigan potatoes . Dinner.

Watching the game, at about quarter to ten, wanted a pizza. Had a frozen pizza, that was made at the bakery, in the freezer. Wanted that pizza.. Settled on a small amount of pistachios.

@ehBeth,
It's very filling - I can go four hours or more on this stuff.

Oatmeal Custard

1 c skim milk
1 well beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c oats
Splenda to taste
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt

Mix the wet ingredients together. Add the dry ingredients and stir. Microwave for 2 and 1/2 minutes, stirring frequently.

@mac11,
no Splenda here but the rest of the ingredients are on hand

it seems like something I'd like - and it'd have good stick-to-itiveness on a weekend

Mushroom onion pizza sounds good to me, assuming I make it, snot that I am.

Yesterday was a mess. A friend was coming to town for lunch, I should be ready at noon. So before noon I had a piece of multigranite toast by itself.

We finally ate sometime around four at a restaurant I like just about nothing at.
I ordered bratwurst on two slices of bread with condiments like raw onions and relish and pickles, a side of jalopeno beans, and sweet potato fries.

So, I ate 1/2 the brats and the onion and relish stuff with no bread; ate just about all the beans, the one thing I do like there, and a few of the sweet potato grease sticks.

Later had some feta and a couple of olives and, yeh, rum and chocolate almond milk.

But, I'm a doggie bag person as I'm always money watching. Thus today I ate most of the sweet potato fries. (I'm going to have to do more sweet potato roasting...) and the brat remainder will go into a bean soup.

finished off that pizza yesterday....I don't regret it because I can see how I don't have any energy, my body feels overloaded.

plus the pizza,I had pumpernickle bread
tomato and cottage cheese
even a few peanut m&m's
2 flax oil capsules.
some other stuff I'm sure...I can remember....wow, it's like going on a drinking binge...how did I wake up with that m&m bag next to me? Where's my car?

not the best of days, I'll definately be on tract during the week.

This has been a real learning experience for me.

I've definitely found it to be a learning experience, too. I rigidly control what I eat and drink these days, but I can hardly imagine what my earlier days were like, hmm, let's see -- it was often

Breakfast: 2 pop tarts
Lunch: black bean soup (I used to have the same soups I have now)
apple
about 3 oz of mixed salted nuts (this was probably something like 20 grams of fat by itself)
Snack: leftovers from the prior evening
Dinner: takeout
Second snack: papadum chips or popcorn with margarine or tortilla chips or ice cream, fortunately not all together

Oh and zero exercise.

Oy, I'm exhausted just reading that.

That's truly awesome.

black coffee
Egg beaters with sauteed onion and mushroom
cranberry juice
1TB flaxseed oil - this stuff is amazing

salad made from:
cottage cheese
tomato
raw pumpkin seed kernels
quinoa
plus 1 slice pumpernickle bread

banana

pasta with parm cheese and paul newman sauce
cranberry juice.

Note of flax seed oil: I tried mixing it in with cranberry juice and chugging it. Better, but wouldn't want to do that as a rule.
I went by a local pharmacy and bought empty medicine capsules. I'm going to try putting the oil in those daily, then take them. I think the effort will be well worth the benefits of the fresh flaxseed oil....will keep you posted.

@ossobuco,
Adds - finally it's jeans wearing time here, and, tada, I fit into my good black jeans; they're almost roomy. Haven't worn those since some time back in California. No real weight loss in the last couple of months, though I'm not really trying. Let's say I'm maintaining sans no real gain either.
