Excellent. !
B: toast, coffee, apple
E: ran 1.5 mile warm-up and "getting to the start line" distance.
E: ran 5 mile race in 43:20. That's about 4 minutes faster than I have ever** run a five.
S: after race bagels(2) and an apple and lots of water.
L: two eggs and a little Swiss, more coffee
Rest: 45 minute nap
S: more coffee and chocolate square
D: steak and tomatoes, watched Yankees win Crying or Very sad Drank three beers Drunk

We drove up to Montreal Sunday, had the book launch Monday, and drove
back yesterday. All the while I ate waaay too much. Time to get back in
harness.

It is a book of memories, reflections and reminiscences of a group of men who
were once memebrs of a religious order. My friend Spencer and I compiled
them into a book that has just been published. Spencer is on the faculty of
McGill University and it's customary for profs who publish to have a "book
launch", basically a wine and finger food thing where you humbly accept the
congratulations of your colleagues.
