I didn't find a thread on A2K concerning this and was rather surprised. I'm curious as to what others think. If there is another thread concerning this, please point me to it? Thanx!

There is a short video on that page, along with the article. Very interesting.

My god.

Really makes you rethink what is really "alive" and what is really "dead".

she was on a ventilator, and a heart monitor/pump . As is done with organ donors so their tissue does not begin to decay or die

For all technical aspects of DEAD... she was not.

Im surprised.. but not THAT surprised now that I read what they had her body hooked up to.

But her brain was dead. Isn't that what qualifies "dead"?

Her Royal Bitchiness from hence forth:

yes and no.
Wont explain details as they are fuzzy to me now a days..

but her body was not allowed to really STOP to BE dead. is that makes sense..

Now. if she were found on the ROAD having been dead for 17 hours.. well. holy ****.

But she was on a machine that breathed for her, a machine that kept her heart going........ no.. Im not too much impressed.

Well. thats not true. I AM impressed.. it just doesnt seem like such a stretch to me..

Rigor had set in!

How much more dead did she have to be? Buzzards pecking out her eye balls?

Rigor has a few stages.

Rigor technically begins when your foot falls asleep

go eat your own buzzards..

Quote:
Rigor mortis refers to the state of a body after death, in which the muscles become stiff. It commences after around 3 hours, reaching maximum stiffness after 12 hours, and gradually dissipates until approximately 72 hours after death.

So, how long had she been "dead" before she started getting stiff?

I guess that will help us determine the answer.

being truly 'stiff' only happens when there is NO blood flow, NO oxygen and NO movement..

none of those things happened to her.

but

im by far not an expert and I am only guessing as to how she really looked.
Im aware that people embellish to produce the sense of shock and awe this story was meant to produce

and i could very well be blowing some smoke out my ass.. but I dont think so.
