Seen my Taxonomy of A2K Conservatives?

Time for a liberal counterpart!

This be the first version...

And yes, I'm still procrastinating...

***

Making one for the liberals is more difficult! There's so many.. plus, maybe my format isnt very good.

But y'all go ahead and make your own Smile

Oh, and again...

Disclaimer: I'm joshing... nothing in the figure below necessarily says anything about how likeable a person is, or about how scrupulous or interesting a life he/she lives..

Hmm Ebrown.. maybe where Idealists and Organisers overlap?

Me - now that wouldnt do, would it, me putting myself on the map there. Wouldnt that be inappropriate?

I guess somewhere on the left of the figure...

It's lovely!

I started to type a response -- about where you would go (I was wondering about the little purply triangle on the right, where "idealists," "radicals," "fighters" and "intellectuals" overlap) but then I wasn't sure so decided to mull more.

But it's cool!

You need an Organizer/Pundit/Poser/Wingnut overlap. Wink

How come is Thomas in BOTH taxonomies?

Do you REALLY think Bi-Polar is a liberal? He's just anti-Bush and that's merely rational.

He's special.

(Someone noticed!)

I have no idea really, but I'd bet he's voted Dem for Prez almost all his life.

I know "Liberal" sounds very, I dunno, ideological and overconsidered an' all, but far away from the Beltway and the bow-tied think tanks, there's a lotta yellow dog Democrats - how would you call those?

Thats OK, I cast the other "you're nuts" vote myself... Smile

(Yes, I talk to myself, which just proves the point.)

I'm going entirely by instinct Cool

Actually, Rama deserved to be near the "Idealists" as well as near the "Wingnuts" and "Posers", but alas, theyre in the wrong bloody corner.

You'd call them conservative Democrats, which is what they've always been called, just like my grandfather, who was the precinct committeeman. Lyndon Johnson actually happens to have been a conservative Democrat (but wise enough to push through Kennedy's agenda) at one time, and "yellow dog" is nothing but a pointless sneer.

Actually, i've always thought of myself as conservative to moderate, but the climate among the "conservatives" here is so reactionary, they must think i'm slightly to the left of Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov.

(I always wanted to be Felix Dzerzhinksy, though . . . )
