Obama Exposed As Black

I'm not saying the guy is wrong or doesn't have a unique perspective, but the guy posts along mostly racial-related posts. That's a fact. I'm just sick of being accused of being a racist because I disagree with the guy on a few points. And I KNOW I'm not the only one that feels the same way.

When you look at posts he's created it becomes even more obvious. I only went back to mid 2007 to find these.

So basically - just going on your own categorisation, not getting into that - what you found was that in actuality, 14 out of 27 threads started by Snood were "about race directly" or "quickly went there".

Half. And half of the threads he started were not. So "a black man, who only talks about things related to being black"? Not so much. You basically disproved yourself.

Which pleads for you, mind. You looked it up instead of just asserting something and then complaining when people object, like some.

Of course Nimh, when ever someone says "always" or "every time" or "all of the time" or any sort of all inclusive statement they are going to be wrong. Myself included.

I should have said "the vast majority of the time in the politics forum all he talks about is race". I don't spend a lot of time in the pets forum to hear about his cat, or in the computer forum to hear about his computer problems.

Well, thats still not my experience. He talks a lot about it, and so he should, he knows a lot about it - kind of like I talk a lot about polls and elections. But the vast majority of the time? No way.

Ima sound silly here, but as in the real world, color is in a minority here. I really don't wanna see silliness make this a white PHD only forum.

I like Snood's perspective, as well as any other minority views, as I am in the Redneck uneducated minority here myself.

I can't pretend to speak for the folks I respect here that are other than pearly White, but I like em all, and would like to hear more from them.

There is so much more interesting than the shade of your tan.

I think I've had more discussions with snood on the Religion forum than Politics and a few others come to mind from Relationships. Trying to recall if race ever came up on Religion -- nothing jumps out at me. Rarely on relationships, but then only when it was a race-related discussion.

I don't know that it should be a surprise that snood's politics are influenced by his race. Personal politics are influenced by any factor that is a big part of who we are and our backgrounds. I don't think snood expresses the factors that come from his background and upbringing any more than anyone else does.
