I paid the Yahoo! people to be a bit slow today... I can't stand the shame.

A mean flying squirrel rubbed some yellow snow into my eyes.
I CAN'T SEE!

What I have to do is to go walking across the tundra, mile after mile, to the parrish of St. Alphonso.
Only way to turn things around this damned week.

But JPB will never again have a week like this, NEVER!

This morning, long before yall woke up, I wandered through the A2K Fantasy baseball teams' locker rooms. Some of them have some nice touches. Frilly curtains on the windows, stuffed animals on top of the lockers and the 'Paws have little bowls of guacamole available.
Other locker rooms had wet towels on the floor and empty cans of Cheez-whiz.
So how are we doing this week? It appears there may not be much happening in the standings. George and Tico, matched against each other, could end up in a near tie for 3rd.
JPB looks to have an insurmountable lead against Fbaeser, but several categories are still in play, so it may not end up as bad (or good, depending on your perspective) as it looks.
RJB saw his lead against JPinMilw dwindle. RJB will still win the week (I have it as 12-4 but I am biased), which will get him close to Fbaezer but probably not close enough to claim 6th place.
Jo and Jespah may, or may not trade places in the 8th and 9th rankings.
Good luck to everyone.

I have returned. Better yet, I have returned to two winning weeks. Humbling myself. Small shimmy shimmy.
Squirrel season opens tomorrow. Furry, fuzzy, first, cute....nothing.
Nice to be back.

I had a squirrel close encounter yesterday. It was ... startling (see the Wildlife in your life topic for details).

Oh and the Puppies' locker room has bowls of kibble and squeaky toys in it.

Paws have fresh made tortilla chips to go with the guacamoles.. and refreshments of choice. Nothing's too good for the little ankle biters.

There looks to be quite a number of folks with a realistic shot for sixth place and the playoffs.

Nah!
It's jus' that them squirrels are specially mean to me.
Checked last week stats.
Whipped by JPB, would have lost to realjohnboy & George, tied with several -including jp, who also took a beating- and defeated at least 5.

So the Puppies and the Southpaws changed places is the standings this week. And look how close the group of us from 6th to 9th are:
Cosmik, Rednecks, Southpaws and Puppies.
I get an easy week vs Pants. I should get close to Cosmik when we go head to head next week.

Down 11-3, rjb, but don't worry. It's only day one.

Okay. I gave you Monday. Now my guys will start playing. At least I hope they will start playing. My hitters were really bad.

So, it is Sunday again.
Could it be? Could it happen? Peameal may take down Turf Toe this week.
Cosmik was hoping to break through the .500 mark, but he's got a little catching up to do against the Gaseous one.
The battle in the standings involves the 'Necks, the 'Paws and the Puppies. If the week were to end right now, the Pups would jump into 7th with a score of .482 dropping the 'Necks (.479) and the 'Paws (.475) down a slot. Taking or losing just one category will change things.
