Damn black dudes. I had a wollen version of such a cap and wore it for many years until it finally frayed its little contribution to universal entropy. I have not found another like it in several years of hunting. Three weeks ago, I found one that was better than acceptable and snapped it up. Unfortunately, my daughter tried it on and looked so darned cute I am again without one. Damn daughter dudes.

I know. I know. Good to know they're available again, I'm assuming you found this newest absconded with treasure in a retail store...

I usually wore mine with all the extra material pulled to the back. I was so cute if I wore it to the side that the streets weren't safe, traffic-wise. I imagine Hebba has to be careful!

Yes, I know what you mean. I'm a sensitive fellow, and some days I would simply stay home, unable to bear the shouted attentions of local truck drivers and the inevitable 'Crash!' that followed.

And I've learned not to trust the promise of truck drivers.

And I bet that the majority of truck drivers have wall to wall carpets.

Who would even manufacture it? It doesn't make sense.

Quite a few 70's heavy metal bands used it for padding under the drum kits.

I hate to say it, but my otherwise idol, F.L. Wright, used shag carpeting frequently. Mostly green but even orange. Go figure.

I've ripped a bit of it out of my gameroom many years ago. Orange shag, it was so chic at one time. I think one of the truckers Piffka and I have known probably carried it off to his wife to see if he could appease her temporarily.

What's your favorite sort of carpeting now? (For those of you who can bear it?)
