Shewolf,

A collage of these two images, along with the other black and white one of the two of them shaking hands would make a very timely poster/commentary on the 2008 Democratic presidential campaign.

The two of them talking, reaching out to shake hands and then finishing with the colorful one of them embracing.

Lots and lots of very subtle layers of reflection there.

You seriously need a publisher lady. Your talent is being wasted and your photography has a hell of a lot to say.

Gus? You've spoken to Gus, Walter?

Man has tended to drive through Albuquerque without stopping, probably because of some damned sheep at higher altitude. You must have some magnetic fulgence on your phone...

Love your photos, Jo. What a fine group of touristas doing the Canyon Road.

Shewolf, your photos of Jillian and Dys are images we both will treasure for the rest of our life. It is impossible to tell you how much they mean to us---even though Dys doesn't like Jillian--as is apparent in the photos.

Rough old cowboy with tender little girl. The love they share. Perfect grandpa and little grandchild. To us, without grandchildren of our own, this is so much what we both are all about. Thank you.

My first thought when I read this was that Jillian would put Hillary to shame if she ever ran for president ...

Actually.. they were not holding hands or shaking when i took that photo.

Those three are in rapid succession.. Less then about 2 minutes all together.

She sat down by him, they spoke a couple of words, she jumped in his lap then hopped down.
He was actually helping her keep her balance in the photograph of their hands..

Between his knees and the edge of the coffee table outside, there is less then one foot of space.
Being 4, she will fit in anything no matter how forced.

So while she was sliding off of his knees, he held her hand so that she would not knock anything over, or fall over herself.

Shewolf's artistic photos and Butterflynet's clever collage are awesome!

Osso and Mame provided great photo documentaries of the gathering.

I know Walter will also have some wonderful photos.

Butrflynet, with your campaign connections to Barack Obama, can you open the door for Shewolf's photos and your campaign interpretation to get it to him? It would be great for Obama's campaign and publicity for Shewolf.
