Johnboy at Calico Cafe, more mellow even than usual for him, as he's suffered film blur, while the post behind him is nicely defined. I think he's talking with BBB; they found a lot to discuss.

A little sight seeing, as I have to space my few a2ker pics (no roll of Saturday film in my denim shorts).

Mame and Thomas and I went to Santa Fe on Sunday. All of us arrived there starving, and after we parked we went to the first place we saw, some kind of NiceMall, where Thomas proceed to steal my quesadilla while I found the restroom. Thus I got a serious enchilada plate. Well, as it worked out, we traded: the quesadilla remnant was just right for me, and the guacamole not bad (though, you know, nothin' compared to the Church St. Cafe's). Didn't see what Mame ordered. Anyway, thus fortified we hit the town walking.

Lace on stucco...
I didn't read the sign on the theater until I was posting. I met Paul Rodriguez once at a friend's party, sharp guy, simpatico. Nice to see his name.

Santuario de Guadalupe. Mass was being celebrated so we didn't barge in with our touring presence.

Mame and Thomas in a courtyard shop area. I expect Mame will have a good photo of Thomas to post from there.

This one was hardly discernible for the figures, dark side of the courtyard, so with me photo enhancing, here we have Mame and Thomas as humanoids...

Diane, remember the courtyard with the terrific candy store and the moderately interesting gallery and, perhaps a linen shop? I took finding that as a challenge (Italian candies) and Mame nabbed it, but the candy store is gone. It might have been the same gallery (yellow truck painting?) in its place, but more commercial than before, at short inspection. So it goes.....

Approaching the Cathedral of San Francisco -

will find links on this and other places later unless others get there first, very welcome. Dys knows more about New Mexico in his eyelash than I will ever know.

Now I'd like to see Santa Fe in winter light and winter ground.

I'll explain that when you go in the Cathedral doors, if you go straight ahead you will, I presume, access the nave. But what the tourist finds is a cathedral shop... I gather people who do want to celebrate Mass get there routinely by side doors.
