Yeah, I was impressed by the BBB one too. And the Bean pic. And you too Osso... You can tell that Mame not only clicks the shutter or frames the shot or whatever but talks to the subject and gets good expressions out of 'em.

Thanks, Mame, for those excellent shots!

Only showing the faintest hint of Mame. Shame.

It's the blame game.
Mame is not only freakin' ugly, she's also canajun, no one wanted to break their camera.

You're such a **** - I mean, Poopity-Head, Dys.

Part of it is that people already are in good moods to be around Mame, even while disagreeing with her on this or that, to whatever extent. Re the photos, it's not so much that she instigates with a given moment comment, though I suppose that happens, but her interest in human personality plus the person behind it gains receptivity.

Not to knock any of the rest of us as phote-ers, including myself at least in some times past if not this week, but to say that Mame is a sparkplug. The woman f/n engages. And no, not all nicey nicey. She is clearly interested in human interaction, thus excelling at writing, and so on.

Whatever.

You make me laugh, Osso - "whatever" Laughing The point is, everyone I've ever met at the two meets I've been to have been personalities so it's easy to capture their spirit on film (or disk or whatever). Great subjects=great shots. I'm dying to see Shewolf's and Walter's shots, though... they're the expert photographers - did you get a load of their cameras??????? Holy Honkin' Hannah! Serious pieces of equipment.

And I gotta say, I really enjoyed the time with Osso Smile Great company!

I'm rather sure that shewolf will post hers earlier than I can - but since I won't post most/all of mine, those I"ll send a cd to those have been here and wish so.

And this photo...

Ooohhh.. this photo made me cry.

Bob.. is such a beautiful person. And there is not an image in the world that can capture all of Dys.
But for me, this did.

This caught him when he was silly, when he was happy, when he was tired, when he was feeling overwhelmed..

I have to label this the single most important photo I own.

(Because I love you Dys.. and screw you .. poopity head )
