Oh my, would it be possible to get Steve and McTag and Fiona to come from the gentle Britain to the wilds of the US Southwest? What fun!

Everytime we have either hosted or gone to a meeting of a2kers, it is wonderful. How did we get so lucky to have so many friends that we care for and enjoy tremendously?

Mame, I love you picture of Thomas. Isn't he the sweetest man? I told him that I so wished I had a daughter so that I could fix them up. He braved the sofa very well, although I think our 16 lb. cat, Dante may have walked all over him a few time during the night.

The PDiddies were so much fun. It was a joy to see them again after so long. Hope PDiddie follows up on his promise to come back more regularly to a2k.

I'll be back later with more impressions---just one more --Mame is even more effervescent than she appeared to be on her thread. Smart and pretty and funny--doesn't get much better than that.

Finally we see some pictures - leave it to the Canadians! Laughing

One can see that you all had a lot of fun. I really like the longer hair
on you, osso. It suits you well, and I like the short hair on Diane and
shewolf. Boticelli's Venus looks more and more like her avatar. The boys seemed to have fun riding around the red Porsche and pretending to be on the Autobahn, eh?

Very nice pictures, Mame!

I thought is was just me, CJ. The more I see of Eva, the more she looks like the avatar.

Only showing the faintest hint of Mame. Shame.

It's the blame game.

I've sad news. I took in four rolls of film for cds and got back three (including some old stuff like photos of a broken furniture leg) and a blank roll. That's the trouble with film, its vulnerability to photographer failure. The blank was the 'some of Friday and much of Saturday' roll. The main photo I remember was of Lady Diddie and Sally Dog... but Walter also captured that...

do have a lot of Santa Fe, and one of Thomas and Mame that looks like it could be good though presently at rather high contrast, and a few others - one of Bean taken in dim light that I might be able to fool with just to show how touching it was.

That's rather sad, osso - but I can imagine that those on the three remaining rolls aren't bad at all!
(I won't be able to post some pics until in .... uhm, maybe 10 days.)

Yes. The ones from the first roll, already in the camera so not many, weren't horrible, but not swell, and the Santa Fes (Santa Fez?) were more urbanscape. We'll see. I'll play with photobucket this evening or in the morning.

Some of those photos make really good portraits. The one of BBB is really super, as is the one with Johnboy, the one of Diane, and the one of Thomas. Well, I might as well list them all..
