We had to learn to be accomplished fibbers to get along with all the trashy people on A2K, none of whom we like.

BBB, your description of last night was hilarious. It contained enough grains of truth that I recognized it - you have a very funny sense of humour Laughing Love the bit about shewolf and her boobs on the window Very Happy

There WERE a lot of fingers being raised, weren't there? lol Fortunately, I have some pics to prove that. As I say, Tuesday I will post some of those.

And Dys, sorry to burst your bubble, but I did extensive research throught the night and it IS a Zuni nose-ring. So everybody else is right and guess who is wrong, yet again? I have a pic of that, too, and we can ask the A2Kers their opinion.

Now to get ready for our day in Santa Fe - can't wait!

Mame, can't get rid of the finger raising. I called at 8 a.m. to find out if we were meeting for breakfast this morning. Dys answered the phone:

"Whada ya want?"

"Oh shut up" I replied. "Are we meeting this morning?" I asked.

"Don't know", he replied.

"You are so dumb and dont' know anything."

"Yep!" Dys giggled.

"Bye."

"Bye."

Last night's fun lingered on.

I'll write book about this gathering here, something like Beyond the Evil and Poopy Heads: A2K'ers and their Relation to the Unconscious illustrated with rocky photos by the author

I think you guys are making this whole thing up and that everyone is at their respective homes, conspiring with each other via email and phone calls, doing your best to create the illusion that there is indeed a gathering, sort of like the government did with that man on the moon business back in the day.

Well, I'm not buying it. No one travels cross the country, and in some cases across the globe, simply to meet dys or to listen to that peculiar accent of Mame's. It just would not happen.

Let's get back to real life, shall we?

Was the statement that Mane didn't have an accent your first clue, the 106 page lovefest, all the finger waving, or the total absence of pictures - even ones that could have been taken in Salt Lake City.

Man, I'm home and debating an early nap. Salt Lak, er Albuquerque is one long drive.

Aaack, Johnboy, there was a little gathering, and it was completely unorganized.

Is there a chance you have time in the morning for breakfast?

Adding an emphatic disjoiner (is that a word or am I making it up?) about my guacamole treasure being green poopity. That was the damned finest guacamole I've had in dogs' years, so fine that some of us agreed to dogbag it from the old town restaurant. I could have kept it all for myself, you know. But no, I donated it... and then it sat there and got brownish, I gather (I was on the other side of the table) due to oxidation and disinterest.
A sad ending for a noble dish.

This may set me off on starting a guacamole thread, except that I think I remember one already exists.. Well, I might resurrect it. Heretofore I've been something of a purist, but I see I have guac to learn.

Why have I not been invited to this?

Shocked

Somebody will have to pay.

FionaB has gone into town in the car with the top down.
The car's top.
I've got the chores to do.

Eva misses her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel so much that she came to my house yesterday afternoon to play with Dolly and Madison. She got lots of doggie kisses and felt better.

McTag,

Security was extremely tight for this gathering. I did not receive clearance either (if that makes you feel better).

Good flights to Thomas and Eva! To Mame as well, but I/we expect to see her before the flight.

It turns out Johnboy leaves tomorrow. He and the PDiddies are headed out to Acoma pueblo this morning and will come back to Abq for lunch.

There is talk of dinner at St. Clair Winery (near Old Town) sometime in early evening, time to be decided later. 5pm? 6 pm? 7 pm?

Johnboy told me of a certain level of major gorging going on yesterday by himself and the Diddies at the Hacienda restaurant in Old Town. Margaritas were spoken of...
