Sorry.
Why nominate?
The next occupier of the highest post( President)
is a white male
who will continue to shephered the people into the future war .
Change and Hope are the two wards one can find in dictionary and not in real life..
Ask the flag waving patriots who will vouchsafe my views, though I am a critical global non-entity.

Coming from you, the "
and back up" part is hilarious. Have you ever backed up a single position on these fora when pressed? I think not.
Quote:We bombed the **** out of an agrarian country that never hurt or threatened us, killing over 3 M people. McCain was an enthusiastic participant. To you, this makes him a war hero.
Ah, I see. So is it fair to say that you believe not every combat veteran is a war criminal, just veterans of Vietnam and I presume the Iraq War.
What about decorated Vietnam vets who later throw their medals (or a reasonable facsimile) away in a public display? War Hero or War Criminal?
Or does your answer depend upon the level of "enthusiasm" the vet brought to his job?
I am not going to answer your childish questions. Make your point and back it up.
What do you guys think of McCain's former membership in the Keating Five? I think it should disqualify him in the minds of voters.
He had accepted trips and gifts from Charles Keating, during which time he and fellow members worked hard to deregulate the S&L industry. The final result was that taxpayers were slammed with a half a trillion bill due to S & L looting. But, to Republicans, Clinton's lying about a bj was much worse.

Can't see you crawling out of a flaming jet fighter over top of the refueling-stem. You'd probably try to put out the fire by pissing your pants.

I didn't expect you would ... you don't answer anyone's questions. I figured that out about you long ago.
I believe it will be McCain. bush with an iq over room temperature... we need better

Best of the group. Certainly better than the Hildabeast.
I'll agree he's the best the repubs have to offer..

Do you think that McCain trying to save his ass makes himself a hero? Duh, I don't think so.
R U a Republican
To be a Republican you need to believe:
1. Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary
Clinton
2. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's
Daddy made war on him , a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and
a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.
3. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade
with China and Viet Nam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.
4. The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our
highest
national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq .
5. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but
multinational drug corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind
without regulation.
6. The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in
speeches, while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.
7. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.
8. A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our longtime allies, then
demand their cooperation and money.
9. Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing
health care to all Americans is socialism. HMO's and insurance companies
have the best interests of the public at heart.
10. Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but
creationism should be taught in schools.
11. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable
offense, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which
thousands die is solid defense policy.
12. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the
Constitution,
which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet .
13. The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but
George Bush's driving record is none of our business.
14. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a
conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and you need our prayers
for
your recovery.
15. Supporting "Executive Privilege" for every Republican ever born, who
will be born or who might be born (in perpetuity.)
16. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960's is of vital national interest,
but
what Bush did in the '80's is irrelevant.
17. Support for hunters who shoot their friends and blame them for
wearing
orange vests similar to those worn by the quail.
If you don't send this to other people, we're likely to be stuck
with more Republicans '08.
I wouldn't vote for John McCain or any current republican for dog catcher... but he was a POW. He's a man and a f*cking hero. No one can take that from him... even if he did end up kissing bushs' ass.
McCain is always bringing up his former POW status. Now he says that he is more of a leader than Romney. What the hell did McCain ever lead?

Agreed whole heartedly.
Advocate; good list. Might just take your advice and send it on.

Who do you advocate for the next president, and what are their qualifications for leadership?
(Good Lord I never learn, do I?)

Captain, USS Forrestal. He VOLUNTEERED for Combat duty when he could have laid low behind the line following Daddy's footsteps.
Just based upon that, he not only is a LEADER of MEN, but a HERO.

This kind of stupid commentary is exactly what is wrong with politics in the US and most liberals, in general.
So is this list to suggest that being a Democrat, you would believe in the opposite of the above?

I actually agree with you woiyo, up to the point of my editing. I think people on both sides are guilty of this kind of narrow minded thinking and it's turned us into a nation of squabbling third graders. We have to start finding some common ground and tolerance instead of trying to endlessly sabotage "the other side"- and thus sabotage the country as a whole. I have no fear of outside terrorism, if the US is destroyed it will implode from within as both sides wave American flags.
