Should I put up Windows in May for consideration, then? Is May better than April, weather-wise or other wise?

Not an easy answer to that; April is fine down here in albaturkey but still run into snow on the Sandia or north Santa Fe /Taos etc

Aww shucks! I just bought 3 tickets to St Louis for an April wedding, don't think I can get away from work again that soon. Would love to meet you all!

Diane, are you gettin' outta dodge while we're there?

Windows #2 and #3 work for me. I also have a couple weekends in mid May (not the first two weekends) that are open if you end up looking later in the season.

John, May 14th - 19th is also a possibility for me.

Bumping up RJB's windows:

Window #1: 3/26-3/31
Window #2: 4/2-4/7
Window #3: 4/9-4/14
Window #4: 4/23-4/28
Window #5: 4/30-5/5

Moving out a little bit further:

Window #6: 5/7-5/12 (mother's day weekend if that is important)
Window #7: 5/14 - 5/19

The clock is ticking on nailing down a window if yall are interested in seeing this happen. Thank you.

May's good.... maybe more good, re weather.

Meantime, we'll do a little hotel exploring, especially the one Dys has in mind. Soon, soon.

Room rates will go up for Memorial Day weekend, if that's an issue.

Wow RJB, that's bad news about your train trip. Work does get in the way, doesn't it?

All the schedules work for us. All I need is a definte choice so that I can then arrange a flight to the ease coast. Do you think we could set a time for decision making, say two weeks from now? That would make it around Jan. 14th.

Anyone else agree or disagree?

And that would be tomorrow. Are we getting closer to a date?

To say something positive, May 14 - 19 sounds good, re JPB could get here. I don't remember who can make it only one time in April. Question is, how many could make it at which time.

I'll be quiet. I suspect I personally killed people meeting in Barcelona by talking endlessly, worrying about some kind of democratic election.

Y'er all welcome to our fair city.

Democratic election? Hell, no.

I have not gotten a lot of feedback from yall. Some, but not a lot.

So I decree that May 14-19th is it.

I will start a new thread tomorrow promoting this thing. Please invite A2Ker's you know to join us.

i would love to be there, as well, but it depends on my work schedule, so... schedule permitting, yes!

Plus I still want to get to NY and Costa Rica this year (and the UK)... but that's another thread.

we have one guest room which will accommodate a single or a double, first requested, first served. Of Course, that includes tolerance of Sally-dog, Dante-cat, and Fred-parrot (as well as THE DYS)

How many of these are house-broken?

If Mrs Walter decides that she'll join me on my US-tour of this year ... we'll do that in autumn.
(And won't know before in .... about two weeks time.)

Otherwise: I'm in.

Looks like you got the beginning of a pretty good gathering there (except I never did like Dyslexia). We'll see.
