Understandable confusion over the answer of 42 which happens to be the Answer to life, the universe and everything…I don’t recall them being blue; but there were definitely three rings on Saturn. Or was that Uranus?

@Tryagain,
Venus has no rings - being female and all, we either love or hate rings. We love
rings on our fingers, but not under our eyes, or around our waist, neck or .....
so there you have it!!

Zyzzyva (n) - any of various tropical American weevils, often destructive to plants.

Without fear of contradiction, I can say that the said ‘zyzzyva’ is the last word in the English dictionary.

I only mention that due to the fact that I appear to be last in a very long queue for one of Jes’s favors " New A2K membership skyrockets…..some are males!

In other news…..I have been receiving a lot of mail asking advice about deciding Whether to Finish or Frog your old knitting projects.

Well, if you have a bunch of UFOs hanging around your house, it may be time to jump up and call the FBI, but how do you decide which to finish and which to frog in the time available?

Start by asking yourself the following questions.

Will the finished item fit me? If not, will it fit someone else I know?
Will it suit me (them)?
Do I like the color? The yarn? The pattern?
How close to finished am I?
Is there a major mistake in the knitting I don't want to or don't know how to fix?

Yes; we have all been there, and answering NO to most of these questions should give you a pretty good indication of which projects to rip. Other times it will be more difficult, as when you're almost finished with a project you hate.

In these cases it may be best to go ahead and finish, planning some nice reward knitting for yourself as you go, and then give the finished item to charity so you don't end up wearing your bad A2Knitting karma.

NEXT TIME….How to build your very own Flying Saucer.

@jespah,
Goodness me, first "smooches for all", now foot massages, are we subtly being led into temptation?

@Dutchy,
However, I know a lady who states in these forums: don't lead me into temptation, I do it well by myself...
