@littlek,
good point, i may have read that to quickly
The cause for concern is that my BP is too low. Not dangerously low, but borderline. Not where it should be.
The patient advocate suggested I wait to see what the neurosurgeons say. Too long to wait. Can't have surgery with such low BP. Couldn't get an appointment. I'm going to what I fondly think of as a cattle call. Unscheduled masses to see general practitioners. The last time waited waited many hours. This time I found out what time it opens (8 a.m.). I'll be there at 7:30.
Got a few other problems that need looking into is well. But I'm worried about the BP. It occurs to me that heavier people tend to have higher BP. I lost 40 pounds from the radiation. That could be the key. I'm temporarily not taking my BP meds, which are designed to lower my BP.
This was a long day.
Thanks for the hugs. Trust me. I can use them. Cyber and otherwise. Sigh.
@Roberta,
Partly my fault as I wasn't sure you had a doorman.
I decided not to ask for a signature. At least partly my flub.
Glad it made it, cookie.
@Roberta,

Well here's more hugs then, Roberta!

I hope the blood pressure situation is resolved soon. It's like Catch 22, isn't it, between blood pressure & surgery? And (unavoidable) worrying could be complicating things, too.
@ossobuco,
Aw, the doorman is supposed to know about stuff like this. And with no apartment numbers, he should be paying closer attention.
I'm on bp meds that work too well. I found out this the hard way, as the two times I got new bp meds I fell, or slumped, in more poetic terms, once getting quit a head bump and lump on the floor tile. And this is with lightweight bp meds. Apparently they can make you dizzy at first. No ****.
Pah, I go to a md at a clinic who listens to my data, me, the bitch retired licensed lab tech. It might sound harder, with me as tough patient, but she seems v. interested - it is actually fairly easy for communication. The most recent hp meds are too strong - and I monitor twice a day before taking... about every third day. When I took these when my bp was normal... that is when stuff happened.
I'm sure I need a lower dose, maybe much lower. Monitoring until I see her.
Why do I post this? Monitoring is useful.
Still waiting for good news and better times with Roberta. (I'm a good hugger too.)
(((((Roberta)))))
Go to bed early. You've had enough of today.
@Roberta,
Bugger.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Boida))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
And my point is to take the bp again.
Geez, louise.
Do none of these people know nothing?
(ok, anything)
@Roberta,
So the cattle call's kinda like a casting call for patients? wear something red

I wish I could offer more than cyber hugs, but there are plenty more of those available.
B...
got a rare moment with both felines in a hand each.
(3 way hug)
okay hadda be quick...
osso, I've been checking my bp several times a day. Always about the same--with and without the meds. Today, a little lower than yesterday.
bethie, Not sure I have red in the wardrobe. Not sure I have a wardrobe. Put in considerable effort last night adding a new hole to a heavy leather belt to keep my pants from falling down. I'll look for red. LOVE the cheetah pick. LOVE it.
Rocky, A two-catter. Impressive.
Thanks to you all for the comments and hugs.
I was up, but I decided not to go. 11 degrees was one reason.
BP is holding, not going down. I have a medical clearance appointment on Tuesday. Let's see what happens there. Going back to sleep.
Always listening in here, if not saying anything in particular.

@Joe Nation,
Checking in .... quickly holding Joe's hand and squeezing gently.... letting go - hoping all is good with him... grabbing Boida gently and hugging her big...
