@Roberta,
a small holiday hug, B...
(ribbit)
Inch worm, inch worm
Measuring the marigolds
Could it be, stop and see
How beautiful they are
(Chorus:)
Two and two are four
Four and four are eight
Eight and eight are sixteen
Sixteen and sixteen are thirty-two
Inchworm, inchworm
Measuring the marigolds
You and your arithmetic
You'll probably go far
(Repeat Chorus)
Inchworm, inchworm
Measuring the marigolds
Seems to me you'd stop and see
How beautiful they are
@Roberta,
Latkes have texture and soda is sweet - good news!
Thinking about you, Roberta, and sending
no birds today, how's about some nice lights, and nice bench to sit and enjoy them
Happy Holidays Roberta

@Roberta,

Thinking of ya, wait for the hawks to come back and youll be all well.
Morning, Boida! Inching towards New Years now. Every day in every way you are getting better and better. Only you could better perfection.
Continuing to wish you well.
deb, see below re qvistmas kvetch.
farmerman, Awaiting the boids with bated breath.
Squinney, In the woids of Joe E. Brown in Some Like It Hot, "Nobody's perfect." But thanks for the thought.
Qvistmas day I felt awful. Retching. Unable to eat. Also anxiety attacks. More retching, but a different kind. A different kind? Yes, I'm becoming a wretched retching maven. There's the acid retching and the anxiety retching--both wretched.
Felt better today. Had a craving for cream cheese. Bought some along with a bialy. Did it taste bad? Nope. Did it taste weird? Nope. Did it make me sick? Nope. Then what am I kvetching about? I couldn't taste anything at all! I knew there was something cool and moist on the bialy. No taste whatsoever. Big sigh.
@Roberta,
Great qvetch!!!
But...wegrets we the wretched wretching.
@Roberta,
Do you have some kind of schedule for getting the sense of taste back?

The docs say soon. What does that mean? Dunno.
Tried to satisy another craving last night. Franks and beans. My first venture into beef. Tasted like dirt--but I didn't gag.
Gonna try to forget about cravings and just eat what I know I can eat. Every now and then I'll venture into new territory and see what happens.
C'est la vie.
@Roberta,
Hey....
just hey... and a big hug. xox
