Frankly, I figure it is hard at times to respond to a gathering of people with continuing condolences and nudgies, at the same time you need the condolence. Expectations of retorts all the time? Roberta has been primo at this, but maybe it hasn't been easy.

We all hope Robbie is hanging in.

Hi guys.

It's going on three weeks since the radiation ended. I don't see any significant improvement. Fact is, I don't see much improvement at all. Still can't talk. Can barely eat. Pain. Retching, coughing, choking, gagging. Not sleeping. Very discouraged.

Tomorrow I see the neurosurgeon. Very nervous.

So basically it's same old, same old.

Sorry for disappearing. Don't mean to make anyone noivous.

So sorry to hear your poor throat is still so bad.

I'm a basket case. The neurosurgeon tomorrow has me shaking and shuddering.

I wasted an entire day. There were things I had to do. Didn't do any of them. Just played computer games and stared.

Oy. Leave my head alone. More specifically, leave my brain alone.

Don't worry about the things that haven't been done... do whatever you can to distract you right now... play games, talk rubbish... anything... try not to think about what if's. I know... so hard to do. Do whatever it takes day by day Boida.

littlek, Don't know how things are in my favor. I'll be handing over a CD of my MRI. The tumor is right there. I saw it. The doctors saw it. The techs saw it. Feh.

roger, I've been known to do this too. But not to this extreme.

I meant that you'd had so much bad luck that it has to let up. I guess I just mean I am hoping you have no more bad news and as little hassle as possible from now on. You've had enough crap.

I doubt that I could have been nearly as strong as you have been, in a similar situation. You just want your life back. Some normality. I understand, perfectly ....
