@Roberta,
If we try and make you feel negative will it have a paradoxical effect?

We can never understand, Boida.

All communication is doomed to failure.

Dropping a line to say I read this thread every day, and my thoughts remain with you. Waiting to hear good news at the end.

Izzie, Gotta keep my iums up, not down. Taking my meds. Hydrating. Shouldn't you be asleep?

Hiya Roger.

Deb, Yup, communication is doomed to failure, but I'd rather have failed communication than none at all.

Edgar, I'm waiting for good news too. Thanks for looking in.

Butrflynet, Thanks for the videos.

Joe, Hanging onto my dominion with both hands.

Ate the same thing today that I've eaten for the past three days. Today I was still hungry. Ate a piece of cheese. Still hungry. Frustrated. Can't eat. Nothing here to eat. But hungry.

I have to straighten out a problem tomorrow with appointments--brain surgeon and brain test. Will I be sufficiently audible to get things worked out? Will I be able to talk without gagging? Haven't been able to talk without gagging for the past few days.

Big sigh.

@dlowan,
I asked about e-mail. Not these particular people, but at the hospital. I should live so long. We all should.

Have you spoken to the hospital folk about this, Roberta?
Is nutrition advice a part of the service they provide? It should be.
Your situation cannot be that unusual .... it's important to keep eating and & maintain your strength throughout your treatment.
I'm sorry, that on top of all the rest of this ordeal, that you're hungry as well!

@Izzie,
I was hungry for a while. Then I had my usual late night snack. Apple sauce laced with ground up pills and a glass of milk. Sometimes I have chocolate pudding instead of apple sauce. But I thought the apple sauce would be more filling.

Not hungry now.

Get back to work, you slacker.

Ha. We all check in before work. Glad to hear you're coming to the end of the throat ordeal, at least. (Still thinking good thoughts in the snowy north.)
