@Roberta,
Oooof. Then I'll keep thinking about you and fervently hoping that the chicken soup helps. A lot.

@Roberta,
Sip and slurp some soup.
Let the antibiotic do its thing.

Take care of yourself. Let the hospital and social worker worry about themselves.

@ehBeth,
I dunno Boida... I think you should go to the ER if you're not sure...

if you're not sure now, and the doc wanted you to go earlier...

I think maybe you ought to go.

Thinking about you.... keep talking silently here if you can.

Slurp a little if you can.

Hugs xox

I have a device that measures my exhale strength. I've been checking it regularly for the past week. It's below normal, but it hasn't gone down for the week. When I got upset earlier, it had dipped, but it came back up. Holding steady below normal is not good. However, I'd like to see if the new antibiotics work. Also the carrotless soup. If I don't see an improvement after these two things, I'll go to the hospital. Got the info on the best ER for asthma. I've been there before.

I hate this.

The occasional suckiness of life is not lost on me. Sorry to be inflicting my woes on you. Your silent voices help me.

I'll let you know how I'm doing.

An aside: In the book I'm editing, I just encountered "peddling uphill." Thud. Don't I got enough tsuris. Of course it's possible to peddle uphill, but I don't think selling is what the authors have in mind.

@Roberta,
Wondering what the latest is...

("Peddling uphill," heh. I'm picturing one of those old rag and bone men with a cart, struggling to push said cart up the hill while yelling about their wares...)

Just woke up. Checked my numbers. Not good; they're down. Heading to the ER at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

I'll check in when I get back.

@Roberta,
OK, thanks so much for the update -- wish it were better news. Sounds like you're doing the right thing.

For what it's worth, in my experience, going to the ER in the daytime is a far pleasanter experience than going in the middle of the night.

Will be thinking about you.

Oh, man....

I haven't posted here, but I've been reading it every day. Anxious to hear good news for a change. Roberta deserves some.

Does she have anyone to check on her in the hospital?
