@ossobucotemp,
Of course they changed the medicine. And I always have chocolate around somewhere.
@Roberta,
Roberta, look what I found waiting for you in Central Park:
The Easter Bunny?
Do you have Easter at a different time of year??
@margo,
All chocolate wabbits are not Easter bunnies. Sometimes a chocolate rabbit is just a chocolate rabbit.
@dlowan,
deb, I don't understand your "what?" What's with the what?
@Roberta,
Just general rabbit related nonsense. My avatar is quite touchy on the subject of rabbits. Quick to take offence if amusement may be gained thereby.
I, on the other hand, am not.
@Roberta,
I just reread this post, which I found while looking up Limoncello to remind myself of how much sugar to put in the sugar syrup as today is the day to do that and bottle the concoction. That's in another thread, but I read this for the hell of it.

Wonderful post, Robbie, makes my heart sing.
@dlowan,
Such bunny sensitivity.
osso, Thanks for digging up that old birthday memory. It made me smile. Remember it well. Sheila and I are still trying to get together for our birthdays this year. She's busy. I'm not.
Hi gang, Update on tsuris. My birthday (Nov. 18) ended by my falling in my apartment. I lost my balance. Had a helluva time getting up, but I managed it. I had an appointment at the hospital on the following Monday. In addition to seeing my pulmonologist (big problems breathing), I went to the ER re the fall. My right side was hurting like crazy. They ER docs were less concerned with the fall and more concerned with the breathing problem. They admitted me.
I managed to get released by Thanksgiving. The nurse in charge of my case got me appointments with neurology, pulmonology, and internal medicine. I had improved breathing wise. The internist was concerned about the fall and my problems with balance. She also thought my finger was broken. She arranged appointments for me with audiology, ophthamology, and ETN (ear, nose, and throat). I also had an X-ray for the suspected break.
Yup, my digit is broken. The last and only time I ever had a bone break was when a horse stepped on my foot. No apology or nuttin'. Just bam. Broken toe.
I see the finger doc this coming Tuesday.
I'm afraid to walk around. My balance is not right. I'm feeling kinda low.
It's unlikely that the dogs will ever come to see me again. My social worker found me another dog. A shi tsu (spelling). Mabel is eleven years old and deaf. She's supposed to be a sweety. My apartment is a disaster area. Can't let a canine walk around barefoot on these floors. Gotta get my act together.
And a happy new year to all of you.
@Roberta,
Concerned for you. Hoping things get better.
@edgarblythe,
Ditto, hope, despite its miserable start, that it really does turn out to be a happy new year.
@Roberta,
Oy. Hoping for quick improvements.
Yikes! Sending positive thoughts for you.
@Roberta,
You tripped because of the balance, or fainting? I sympathize. I'm not as secure as I used to be on paving that slants in different directions. Straight paving without a lot of pot holes, I'm much better at.
I like your internist from afar. Have my hopes hopping re you and the doggie.
@Roberta,
Very sorry to hear all this. Are you physically able to clean do,you think? Just wondering if there was any kind of home help available to assist with that....because, quite apart from anything else, if you can have dog visits you may feel happier which might help with the other stuff.
Are you able to get to your book group?
Hope things improve
@Roberta,
Here's hoping this gets better...soon!
@Roberta,
Best wishes and here's hoping for a big improvement from this latest rash of tsoras. Wait, isn't that a catchy name for a new product..."rash of tsoras"? better not be a cologne or perfume.
Thanks for all the good wishes. You guys are da best.
osso, I didn't faint, didn't get dizzy, didn't trip. I just lost my balance.
deb, I had someone here to clean for me about a year ago. I hated it. Loathed having someone in my apartment messing with my stuff. Here for hours!! Did I mention I didn't like it? As long as I can stand, move, and breathe. I'll take care of things myself.
