Surgery--Again

Hey, Deb. Thanks for checking in.

Sorry to see that you're going through all of this again.

January 26, 2013. I'm in a good mood. A very good mood. An extremely good mood. In fact, I can't remember when I've been in such a good mood. Why? Not sure. Don't care. I have energy. The sun is shining. There's a light dusting of snow on the ground. Looks good to me.

You poor souls have been with me and my whining, kvetching, moaning, groaning, sniveling, and verklempting. You're entitled to at least know about how I am today.

Feeling good.

Was awakened at the crack of dawn by hammering. Did it bother me? NO.

Made a phone call I've been putting off. Nervous about the response I would get. The response was fine. But it felt good just to make the call.

Did some errands. The bakery: Hello, senorita! Hola, Juan.

Carrying heavy groceries. The doorman helped me at the entrance to the building. The super took the bags all the way up to my apartment and left them at the door. Whatta guy.

Feeling good.

things are eased up a bit here as well.

made a half a grand hauling junk yesterday.

now I gotta decide how to spend it...

and the weather is wonderful today.

A new date for the biopsy as been scheduled. Feb. 19 at Bellevue. The hated hospital will be out of the picture.

I have to go to Bellevue one more time (before the surgery) for two more things.

I'm hoping to get a small job to fill in the time.

Still in a good mood, but not an extremely good mood. Good is good.

Bellevue, now that's good news.

Greatly relieved to be going to Bellevue. When I first learned about the biopsy, I asked if I could wait until Bellevue surgery reopened. Oh, no, says the docs. Hah, says I.

I hope my asthma behaves. Off the steroids and still breathing.

Got a small job. It'll keep me off the streets and out of trouble.

Ok, vgood.

Asthma is not behaving. We'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Hey Boida - how are you feeling?

Is your asthma under control now; did you need to restart the steroids?

I hope the work is good at the moment and not too tiring, boring or cumbersome.
