@Izzie,
Hey, Iz. How's by you?

I now have two jobs--proofreading and editing. I'm falling behind. Having trouble concentrating.

Got a message from my cousin Howie. Hadn't seen him in ages. Had lunch with him and his wife yesterday. Loved seeing them. It's great to see somebody you have a history with. My history with Howie goes back to the beginning.

Breathing seems relatively OK. Seeing the asthma doc on Wed.

Seeing my therapist on Friday.

Still haven't reached the dentist.

Still have financial issues to resolve.

I've been sleeping too much. But I'm doing OK.

@dlowan,
Yes, what Deb said, Roberta.
I won't ask what you're editing. You've had a few horror projects in the past! (For some reason cranberries come to mind. I've probably got that wrong, though ....)
I so wish things were better on the finances front!
Sigh.

For those who keep track of these things, I've rescheduled the appointment with the asthma doc. I'll see her in a month.

I got no sleep! And they're predicting bad weather for later today.

Shouldn't be a problem.

Now I'm gonna try to sleep.

@Izzie,
Working hard, Iz.

That video did me a world of good, kid.

I'm an eagle that flies on the breeze. Sigh.

Nippy breezes today. Gearing up to run an errand. Then back to work.

Love you too, kid.

@Roberta,
Oh Boida, so glad you're managing to work.

You soar goil, you soar...

This is apparently our last night of well below temps and we should be warming up from the West... hoping for some more sunshine too. Have a few days off school... verra tired right now - so thankful I'm not having to go in next week.

Wrap up warm on your excursion.

So very pleased still that you saw Howie... I know how lovely that was for you.

Take care ((((((Boida)))))) big love. x

Went to the dentist. The tooth could not be saved. I was assured that the extraction and its after effects wouldn't hurt. The after effects hurt. I took some OTC pain pills and slept for five hours.

I found out that my Medicaid is not active. What happened? Don't know. Gonna call tomorrow. If I don't have Medicaid, I won't be able to get the rest of my mouth fixed. I was able to pay for the extraction.

I also found out that they won't treat me further unless I get my internist at Bellevue to sign a form saying it's ok. I have a heavy-duty medical history. Getting in touch with this person could be a challenge.

Speaking of the devil (the internist), she called me while I was getting my tooth yanked out. Results of blood tests. I'm borderline diabetic.

I've had better days.

I've also had plenty of worse ones.

Back from Bellevue. Saw the asthma doc. My numbers haven't been good since Monday when they yanked out my tooth. I believe it's stress related.

My Medicaid has been discontinued. Found out when I tried to register to see the asthma doc. Card rejected. I will have to sift through my Medicare info that's piled up somewhere and find out what I get and what I can do.

I was already there, so I decided to try to see the internist. She called me and wanted to talk to me. I had a medical clearance form for the dentist that needs to be filled out. Two and a half hours later, she came out, we talked. I got a scrip for a bladder infection, and she told me to make an appointment with Medical Clearance to get the medical clearance.

I'm tired, swollen, bruised, and in pain. I'll do what needs to be done manana. Today, I'm gonna take some Aleve and lie down.

The long wait gave me time to get some proofreading work done. Don't have to work until tomorrow.

Sigh and a half.

That's worthy of a platinum-level kvetch! Why couldn't she have told you about the need to make the other appointment when she said she wanted to talk with you, before you waited the two and a half hours?

Sheesh!
