@Izzie,
Back from Bellevue.

The test was long and unpleasant. Although I don't have official results, it looked to the tech and me as if my heart is pumping just fine.

Hungry and tired. Gonna eat. Gonna sleep.

Thanks for asking, Izzie. You're a very good kid.

@Izzie,
Love you too, kid.

Keep in mind that the opinion was unofficial. Me and the tech. But even I know steady heartbeats when I see them. When they gave me a drug to simulate my having run a mile, the beats were still steady, just closer together.

Didn't see the photos they took. These could reveal something. Who the hell knows. I don't see the doc for a while. Not gonna worry. Did I just say that? Yes, I did.

Got there at 8 a.m. Left at 12:45.

Question: Why is it that the minute you're strapped into some steenkin' machine, your nose starts to itch?

@dlowan,
I'm eh, which is OK by my standards. Some days are better than others, breathingwise.

Paying too much attention to my heartbeat--ever since the test. Every now and then I feel a boom. But I think that happened before, only I didn't pay attention to it. No pain.

Resting. Not working. Not schlepping to the hospital. This may have been the first day I haven't felt exhausted in a long time.

So let's make it an eh almost plus.

@Izzie,
Thinking about you, too, kid. Thanks for the good wishes.

My hours were screwy before. They'll be even screwier when I'm finished resting.

If I feel tired, I just go to sleep. What a novelty.

@Roberta,
Eh plus?

A semi mitzvah. She's not exhausted.

Yes...hearts get ectopic beats....paying attention magnifies what we perceive.

Sooner or later you'll fuhgeddaboudit.

You planning a litle christmas treat? What's your favourite litle Christmas treat?

@dlowan,
I don't have a favorite Christmas treat if you don't count getting lots of loot. Remembering childhood Christmases. Love dat loot.

Got a book from Amazon. Don't know who sent it, but it was a nice surprise.

I'll probably get a brownie at the local bakery.

How about you? What's your favorite little Christmas treat?

@Roberta,
Thinking of you on your Christmas eve, Roberta.
And hoping that today will be good, not-too demanding day for you. With maybe some pleasant surprises!
I haven't posted much here recently, but do always read your posts.

I'm really, really hoping that you might post some of those reminiscences on your "two families" thread (I think that might be my favourite A2K thread ... love it)..... only if you want to & have the time, of course!
But, if you need a gentle nudge inspire you .... here it is!

<nudge, nudge>

@Roberta,
Ok then, Roberta.
No problem at all.
But, if I do find it, I'm certain it'll be yet another terrific read. Smile
