Enjoy Pig Heaven!

Have a whole fish with BIG eyes for me!

Isn't it illegal, or, at the very least, immoral, to go to Pig Heaven and have fish?!

Un-natural, anyway!

@Izzie,
Had a great time. Sheila says hi. Took home a doggie bag.

Breathing still not bad. I'm checking my BP regularly. Normal.

@margo,
margo, I rarely have pig at Pig Heaven. Moral shomoral. I eat what I like. My friend had ribs; I had chicken. And we shared an order of meat dumplings.

Delish.

I like their menu - Cold - pig; Cold - no pig; Hot - pig; Hot - no pig......

@ossobuco,
osso, The only whole fish on the menu is sea bass. There are three different preparations. I don't know which one Deb had. All I remember is that the fish was staring at me. Deb may have stared, but she was more discreet.

I had General Tso's chicken. Sweet and spicy. Crispy and tender. With fresh peppers.

I'm worried that this wonderful place (I've been going there for years) will close. The last few times I've been there, there were very few customers. Lots of places in the neighborhood are disappearing.

@Roberta,
cheesecake on the menu

what kinda Chinese restaurant is that!

from where you sit in Pig Heaven can you tell what their take-out business is like?

their ribs were recently featured on the Food Network, so hopefully will keep on going in and listening to the live conga-based jazz

@ehBeth,
Wouldn't order cheesecake there. The takeout business is brisk. The bicycle guy was running like crazy--pedaling too.

I hope that business keeps the place afloat. Never been there when there was live music.

I've eaten there a few times with Thomas and once with Thomas and tsar. We all had good food--no desserts that I recall.

I'm up. Slept for an hour. I just called a car service to pick me up.

I'll let you know when I get back.

@Roberta,
Back from Bellevue.

Not terrible, not good. (Which is exactly what I thought.)

The doc is reluctant to put me back on steroids again. He gave me an emergency prescription.

I'm congested, so he thinks I might have some kinda bug which is aggravating the asthma. He gave me a scrip for an antibiotic. Plus I should keep nebbing and spacing.

Before anybody tells me to take yogurt with the antibiotic, I'll just say that I got the yogurt, and I'll take it with the antibiotic. (A little noodge prevention can't hoit.)

@Roberta,
Hope the antibiotics are making you feel a little better Boida and I'm glad you've got an rx for emergencies. (we've noticed a massive difference since S-boy started his inhalers on Tuesday tho he's still coughing, but his breathing is easier).

Keep nebbing and spacing goil. Thinking of you. xxxxxxxx

I hope those antibiotics do the trick, Roberta & that you've been able to catch up on the lost sleep.

Thinking of you & hoping you feel much better soon.

@Roberta,
Hi,
Just cruising by and noticed this:

Was this on advice from your physician regarding this particular anti-biotic or was this advice from some street-corner doctah?

The number of anti-biotics for which dairy products are contra-indicated is long though not universal.

@Joe Nation,
Joe, Not advice from a physician or a street corner doctor. Advice from a buncha people here the last time I took antibiotics. Dairy products are not contraindicated with these antibiotics.

No noticeable improvement today. The doctor told me to give the antibiotics a chance to work.

I'll keep nebbing and spacing. And I finally got some sleep.
