Howdy there stranger, long time no see Smile So sorry you're going through such a tough time and I wish you a full recovery ASAP! I adore your pictures and am glad you're feeling better today. Even though I barely post in here anymore, I'm always thinking of all the amazing people I barely see since I ventured off and I miss you guys. ((((Roberta)))) not often seen, but much thought about ♥

@Montana,
Thanks, Gracie. The picture is the result of art therapy. For me it's a way of thinking in images instead of words. It's helped me a lot. The picture isn't just a jump for joy. I'm jumping because I feel light enough to get myself off the ground. A weight has been lifted off me.

Montana!!! Oh, I'm glad to see you and hear from you. Glad you like my pictures. They aren't art; they're feelings. I think about you too. Wondering what's going on. Post when you can and when you want. Even if I don't say much, I'm always paying attention.

The relaxation is not gone. Not worrying about surgery is a mechiah.

However, I still have to deal with tax issues. A temporary reprieve isn't good enough.

I will continue lumping--an all weekend lumpation is just what I needed. Manana. I will try to resolve other problems.

As Roseanna Roseannadanna used to say, "It's always something." And as I have always said and will continue to say, "Oy."

I'm striving for peace of mind.

@Roberta,
I absolutely love this!

I'm glad you enjoyed a lump weekend.

I hope the tax folks become willing partners (or even unwilling partners) in a satisfactory resolution for you.

I did something outrageous. I bought some stuff.

Not exactly luxuries, but the last thing I bought for myself was underpants--before that I can't remember.

Sneakers. My current sneakers are ripped. My toes show through the torn canvas. And the soles are falling off. New ones will arrive soon.

Warm stuff to lounge in. Since the throat radiation and the brain surgery, I'm cold more than I used to be. In fact, I rarely if ever used to be cold. Now I am. I got some sweat pants for wandering around the apartment and flannel PJs. Haven't worn PJs since I was a kid. No shivering this year--I hope.

Yesterday was the last day of the steroids. Breathing is good and bad, on and off. I won't see the doctor for a while. She's out now having a baby.

@dlowan,
Bunny, I'm enjoying it already. Just the thought of buying something for myself lifted my spirits.

@Izzie,
Breathing is eh minus. Better than bupkis.

Got a gift in the mail today. An old and dear friend sent me a bird book. Also enclosed was something from her cat Hidey--a whisker!

Made me laugh. A whisker for her Aunt Roberta.

@dlowan,
Don't have more steroids. Nebbing and using the spacer.

I may go to the asthma clinic if things don't get better. No appointment. I'll take my chances.

Edit: Just called. I'm going to the asthma clinic tomorrow at nine in the morning.

@JPB,
J, I added the edit while your were posting. Tomorrow morning should be ok.

Having dinner with a friend tonight.

Sigh. Actually only half a sigh.

@dlowan,
I nebbed, and breathing improved.

Didn't have dinner yet.

Deb, I'm going to Pig Heaven. Remembering sitting across from you--and your red scarf.

Not to worry (too much). If I didn't think I was up for dinner, I wouldn't go. And if I thought I needed instant medical attention, I'd already be in the ER.

I'm checking my peak flow reading regularly. It's up to not terrible.
