@Roberta,
Taking a coughy break. Fell asleep fast. Woke up coughing.

Breathing might be better. Not sure yet. Maybe the antibiotics are kicking in.

@dlowan,
Yup, better. Without nebbing or spacing, the peak flow is higher than it's been in a while.

Hope it stays this way.

Dang well better, all this stress is driving me crazy...

On a serious note, glad you're a bit better today.

I slept for a long time, but I'm still tired.

The cough persists.

The breathing is eh.

@Roberta,
I'm glad you got some sleep, Roberta. Doesn't sound like you got much rest though. I hope the breathing and coughing leave with the storm. Did you get snow?

@JPB,
I didn't even know it snowed. I see a bit of white on rooftops and on cars.

Slept long again, but I don't feel rested.

How you doin'?

@Roberta,
I'm good, thanks.

Wishing you were getting a more restful sleep, however.

@JPB,
I go to sleep tired. I wake up tired. May be some meds I'm on.

I've been procrastinating about medical paperwork and money and tax stuff. Don't think it's enough to keep me from sleeping well.

Glad you're ok.

@Roberta,
Hey ((((Boida))))

I wonder if this could be because you have come off the steroids.

Also, struggling to breathe easily will make you very tired...

combination of that and the possible bug - so hoping that antibiotics are going to help you improve.

(((((Boida)))) love x

@Izzie,
Roberta and Izzie, I get the use of the antibiotics, but I also don't.
Being an olden days lab tech, degree in microbiology, we ran plates, ran tests, tested colonies on individual plates with antibio tabs. It didn't take that long, you could tell early.
I'm against a lot of anti bio use as something to throw at congestion. It's like the dummies won.

Of course I'm for them when applicable.

But my take is that that part of pharma is spatial in the wrong way at the same time it can be debilitating to patients.

Izzie and osso,

I thought that the fatigue may be a post steroid reaction. I wasn't sleeping much at all when I was on them.

As for the anitbiotics, I noticed a difference. Not a big one, but I'll take any kind of improvement I can get.

Just returned from hobbling an errand. The cold air felt GOOD. Well, being outside felt good. I love cold. I get snow euphoria. I think it's the Russian in my genes.

@Roberta,
'k, good. GOOD.

I'm adapting to cold here now, but I'm a pipsqueak at it. (I'll never be as good at it as plainoldme, rockhead, or my cousins, but then my cousins don't live on the plains). POM, now there's a woman who can make do.

@Roberta,
My new sneakers arrived. They fit poifect and feel good. And they're not torn. I wore them for the first time today. (I hobbled an errand.) Felt like a mensch.

My new warms duds arrived. Everything fits poifect. (I was guessing on sizes.) I currently have on my mint green fleece sweat top and my light gray sweat pants. The sweat pants I was wearing to keep my legs warm have no seat. I mean it's gone. Nada. Bupkis. But my legs were cold, not my ass. Those will go down the incinerator on my next trip out.

My poiple flannel pajamas fit poifect and look good.

One very small, very minor kvetch. (No surprise there.) The sweat pants don't have pockets. Grrrr. I'll manage.

Wearing only one layer and warm. Smiling.
