@Izzie,
Fell back asleep last night and just woke up. I missed dinner and all my night meds. Breathing is between t and ta levels. Not up to a tad better yet.

Gonna have a snack and my night meds. Then I'm going back to sleep. If I can stay awake long enough to have the snack and the meds.

Awake again.

Breathing has not significantly improved, but it ain't worse.

I think I should eat. I haven't eaten much since I've been home. Too busy sleeping.

Slept through business hours and didn't make any calls.

Gonna try to sort through the nine zillion appointments the hospital made for me. Maybe tomorrow.

Oh, just thought of something I can do. I'll check my bp. Checked. Not low enough.

Hey, body. Get with the program.

@Roberta,
Not sure your body can lower its blood pressure too well with all the asthma drugs! Although maybe you have a lot of BP drugs to counter them? Sleep is good. Hoping MIT da breathing.

@dlowan,
What does MIT mean? I probably missed that.

@dlowan,
I have six asthma drugs and one BP drug. The bp doesn't stand a chance.

osso, MIT is a yiddish version of with. How's mit you?

So I put on a pair of pants, and I can tell from the belt that I lost at least ten pounds. Hospital food plus not eating much at home. Not much interest. I'll try to eat tonight.

Know what I could use right now? An overbearing mother who would come in here, berate for the state things are in and I'm in, and start to put things right. She'd make calls for me, clean for me, cook for me, and drive me nuts. When I had the strength, I'd yell. If I didn't have the strength, I'd whine.

I had such a mother. We did not get along well at all. But she could overbear with the best of them.

@Roberta,
Ibwonder if there's a Jewish mother service?

Likely there's something similar...like a personal organizer....but they're expensive.

@dlowan,
Mother's are free, if you don't count the emotional tariff.

@Rockhead,
So put it there. Not for me to do.

I weighed myself. Lost 13 pounds. That belt was right.

Ate, kinda. Almost a whole pear with crackers and fontina cheese. I'm supposed to avoid salt. Easier said than done.

Gonna neb and play a game.

@Roberta,
Emotional tariff weighs a few tons..

But consider us there. Here, I'm singing at you. That will get you to move and pull up a blanket.

@Roberta,
Good Yontif to you, 'Boita. And it's Yom Kipur yet! I'm glad you don't keep Kosher; I'm assuming you don't intend to fast today. Enjoy!

@Lustig Andrei,
Andy, Thanks for the good wishes. Yom Kippur is over here in the Big Apple. I didn't fast. But I do view this as a special day.
