BTW, The checkout people rescheduled the appointment I missed with the throat docs. Greatly relieved.

The fever is gone. Greatly relieved.

Two new jobs arrived on Wednesday. My timing, as always, is impeccable. I'm gonna hold off starting until maybe Friday. Gotta see how I feel. Both these jobs are hard copy, so I gotta look down when I work. Easier to do the work on hard copy (and faster), but harder to breathe.

And physical therapy starts on Monday! Like I said, impeccable timing. Sigh.

Good news re the fever and the rescheduled appt. I hope your breathing continues to improve.

I just woke up (I think it's temporary; gonna sleep some more). First time I slept for several hours in a row in days!

My breathing is about the same. On the one hand, you could say, "Phooey, it should be better." These things take time. On the other hand, it ain't woise.

Had to get some staples. Someone offered to shop for me but didn't show up, so I decided to give it a try.

Only minor panting when I got dressed.

Major panting by the time I got to the lobby. Rested and recovered.

Didn't pant much in the supermarket. I found that leaning forward on the shopping cart was very helpful. Must remember this.

Getting back to my building was a nightmare--carrying stuff. The doorman finally saw me and gave me a hand. Rested and recovered in the lobby.

Last leg--from the elevator to my door. Almost passed out. Got there. Got home. Got my stuff. Am now recovered.

I'd better be a little better tomorrow.

Caught up with shopper. My answering machine isn't working!

Turns out, it was Roberta's answering machine's fault---it messed with my phone call so she never heard the phone ring. (Well that, and our timing was out of sync.)

Sorry you had to go through this, Roberta.

The ringer on my phone is off. I don't know I'm getting a call until I hear the answering machine. So I was sitting on the couch while Thomas was calling me.

Most calls, Osso? It was at zero. I don't save stuff. It just stopped working.

So now the ringer on the phone is turned on until I get another answering machine.
