Can you guess that things went well?
The MRI revealed a thickening in the area where the tumor was. Not to worry.
Two possible courses of action:
1. Have the area checked regularly and see what happens.
2. Something called a gamma knife procedures. It's a noninvasive, one-time radiation zap exactly on the trouble spot.
I'm ok with either course of treatment, but the first one is my favorite.
The doctor is meeting with some brain committee on Thursday. It includes my neurosurgeons and my neurologist. They'll be discussing my case. The doctor will call me with their decision.
Can't tell you what a weight has been lifted off me. I feel free. I'm getting stronger. I have more energy. I haven't felt this good since 2007. And nothing (at the moment) is hanging over me
Speaking of hanging, those of you who hung in here with me all this time are da best--and firmly planted in my heart. Oy, I shouldn't have heart problems.
I'm grateful to each of you beyond words. I ain't just talking. You people kept me going when the going was mighty tough. For days on end, you were my only human contact. I thank you from way deep down.
Now I'm gonna eat breakfast. Better late than never.
