No one could figure out what the hell was going on. The PET scan revealed an anomaly that one doctor said "makes no sense." Finally got an answer from the head of the whole shebang.
My vocal cords never fully recovered from the radiation. I've been using what are called "false vocal cords." It requires effort and energy to speak this way. The exertion caused an irritation and swelling. I guess this is better than being inaudible.
I graduated from monthly visits to bimonthly visits. And I was seen in record time.
I had an appointment with a new psychiatrist today. (My wonderful therapist is a psychologist.) The psychiatrist gave me a new prescription for the antidepressant which should straighten out all the problems I've been having with the pharmacy. (See above somewhere.)
I thank each and every one of you for caring, sharing, and listening. I don't think I could have gotten through the worst of all this without youse guys. Truly, really.
One more hurdle--brain radiation. Don't have to think about that for a while. I begin taking the new thyroid med this week. Maybe I'll be able to wake up and stay awake. I have a job coming in on Friday.

Great news! So glad that that worry can be taken off your list.
