@Eva,
Back. Things went well--by radiation oncology standards. Liked the doctor very much, which doesn't speak to his skills but which counts for a lot with me.
I asked a lot of questions and raised a lot of concerns. All my questions were answered, and, to my amazement, not only were my concerns addressed, but the doctor agreed with them all. (He thinks I'm very smart.)
I'll have another MRI in three months. Then we'll decide what the next step is. In the meantime, I'll have a chance to get stronger and find out what's happening with my throat.
BTW, there was an aquarium in the waiting room. Also a TV. I watched the fish. I reported to the receptionist that one of the fish was kind of aggressive. "Yeah, the blue one with the stripes." "That's the one," I said. "He's a bully." Oy, there's one in every crowd.

Well, YEAH! It never is, for the winner!
Eva, if it was a concern, why did they keep playing? Granted, we play a variety of games, but still. Gluttons for punishment. Who knew?
