I had an appointment tomorrow with the lawyer. Cancelled.
I had an appointment tomorrow with the therapist. Cancelled.

So now I have to schlep to Bellevue just to drop off the urine sample. While I'm there I might as well get another prescription filled.

Rocky, There are at least six vendor carts directly outside of Bellevue. More than half have Noo Yawk pretzels. I've been known to purchase one on occasion and nibble on the way home.

Instead of leisurely preparing to head to the hospital, I became aware of a financial problem that required immediate attention! An emergency. I spent much of the morning on the phone (on hold mostly) trying to get it resolved.

Because the specimen had to be submitted before a particular time, I had no time to do anything but throw on some clothes (managed to get everything on facing front and right side out) and race out the door after collecting the last of the pee. Decided to wait with the prescription. I need to wind down and calm down (calm by my standards).

Yesterday you were eating your hearts out over the fun in my life. Today you can be green with envy at all the excitement. Good. Green is my favorite color.

Now I'm gonna go play a hidden object game. I hope I can find a good one. Then I gotta fill out a form for the lawyer, schlep downstairs to mail it, and get some milk.

I admire your quick wits at desperation time.

Have more appointments been set up with lawyer and therapist?????

Izzie, I'll see the lawyer and the therapist on Friday. I have an appointment with the endocrinologist on Thursday to get the results of the tests. Thanks for the pppppppppppfst.

Got a call from the neurosurgeon. He left a message. He asked if I got the last urine specimen in. I guess he's been following my endocrine progress.

The brain surgery is rescheduled for October 21.

Don't know whether this is a thud or a sigh.

Glad to hear someone is following through. I've been concerned with all the people you deal with, and each seeming to exist in his/her own little universe.

Got another call from the neurosurgeon today. Now the surgery is scheduled for Oct. 19. However, I will see the endocrine doctor on Oct. 15. I need a clean bill of health from one in order to schedule another. This is cutting it a little close. I'll try to reach the neurosurgeon tomorrow.

My financial "emergency" is unresolved and is dragging on. It's lasted too long to be an emergency. Now it's just a crisis.

No thudding, sighing, or anything elsing tonight. Tonight I want to curl up in a ball, crawl in a hole, and be left alone. It's almost hibernation season. I wanna hibernate.
