soz, If I win, I want pure gold. I don't care about whether it's soft or hard. It's not like I'm gonna hammer nails with it.
deb, The horse should get the ribbon and the medal. Trust me. I know what nationality the numbers are. I was deliberately evading the issue. I can't get anything past you.
@Roberta,
It's a bad day in Bunnyland when you can.
But I hope you keep trying!!!

As usual, the Columbusian is making very good sense, Roberta. Listen to her!
And, needless to say, good luck!

Thomas! How you doin', kid? You're not reading carefully. I said that I contacted the lawyer on Friday when I got home.
Heard from him today. He's gonna take care of things. He tells me not to worry. I won't have to wait and reapply.
@Roberta,
<Breathes again, weird slooshing noises abate>
@Roberta,
well that's settled then, no more worrying, right
okay, it's probably not that easy but one can try

Excellente!
I swear that a bunch of these big bureaucracies have a default response of "no" to any and all requests, and then just give in when they gotta. No fun to be the person who has to push and push when you already have so much on your plate. Yay for your lawyer though!
@Roberta,
Great news about your lawyer. Nice of him to call you on a Sunday, too.
@Swimpy,
I don't know about that <grumble>. Don't worry seems to mean about the same as "Ya can't miss it" tacked on at the end of a set of directions.
@Roberta,
He called on a Sunday. Nice boy. His mother raised him well.
Roger (you old grump), If he fixes things, I'm better off. If he doesn't, I'm no worse off than I was before. For free I ain't that picky.
I think he works on Sundays and is off Tuesday. Whether he is or not, I've heard from him on the weekends before.
I agree that his mother raised him well. He seems to sincerely want to help.
@Roberta,
Ah, recognition at last! Everyone else is fooled by the positive outlook and undying optimism of my avatar.
Roger, Your avatar doesn't look grumpy. IMO, it looks a little downcast, maybe noivous. I was referring to the person behind the avatar.
Back from the CAT scan, which went off without a hitch (almost, kinda, sorta). Out in an hour.
Dropped off my first urine sample.
I haven't been to sleep yet, but I'm hungry, so I stopped off and got a bagel with cream cheese and Nova. The question is, is it breakfast or a late night snack? I'm going to sleep after I eat it. If it's breakfast, what meal will I be up to when I get up? Why is life so complicated and confusing?
A nice thing happened. When I was on the elevator on my way down from the CAT scan, a man (a worker at the hospital) said hello and asked if he knew me. I said it was possible. I'm there a lot. He asked if I'd been to the emergency room lately. I said not lately. He said that it couldn't have been me. I said, "You mean there's somebody wandering around who looks like me?" He said, "What's wrong with that? You look good." You coulda knocked me over with a feather. Smiled on my way to drop off the pee.
@Roberta,
I agree.
Your spots look especially vibrant today!!!

Now there's a line you don't read every day.
Good to "hear" you smile though.
@Roberta,
I think the meal is "supfast" by the way.
Like brunch, only different.
Tai, Stick with me, kid. I'll be dropping off another batch in a couple of days. Who knows what might happen along the way.
deb, Thanks for the kind words about my spots. I take great pride in them.
Btw, it can't be supfast because supper was never the issue. It was either a snack or breakfast. Snast? Still unresolved is what meal I'm up to.
osso, Brack would be fine if I weren't so compulsive. In my twisted brain, the snack must precede the breakfast. I gotta go in the order of the meals. Life ain't easy, and I make it harder.
bethie, Thanks for Oscar--and to Oscar.
