If I told a lie, if I made you cry
When I said goodbye, I'm sorry
From the bottom of my heart, dear
I apologize
If I caused you pain, I know I'm to blame
Must have been insane, believe me
From the bottom of my heart, dear
I apologize
I realize I've been unfair to you
Please let me make amends
Don't say that you forgot the love we knew
After all, we were more than friends
If I made you blue, I've had heartaches too
Now I beg of you, forgive me
From the bottom of my heart, dear
I apologize
Give me back your glance, give me back romance
Give me one more chance, forgive me
From the bottom of my heart, dear
I apologize.

Oak...Roberta is sharp. She'll geddit. Laughing
but you are still the master of the universe when it comes to Cockney Cool

And inspite of Cav's generous support ministrations; i feel i need to thank the crew for their patient endurance, and indulgent guidance.

Both are appreciated. Very Happy

Bo, If you change your mind, I'll be there for you, kid. Cringing but supportive.

Bo, glad you got my song of apology. Smile

Everyone here has bought to this forum a unique style of writing--JohnOaK with his colorful street talk; Roberta with her fine tuning style; Bo with his abbreviated approach and all the rest who have so clearly communicated, and, of course, that is the main purpose--communication on one level or another.

Good morning, all.

I love it that we all communicate in different ways. It makes A2K more than a forum, it makes it a community.

Cav,,,, what you say is true. Community, spot on. I sometimes wonder if my use of Cockney and London street talk is little excessive here, but it's the way I speak day in, day out.

as shepaints, vivien, and the whole crew on the art side of things will show you; the more varied the 'palette' the more content and 'richness' in the result.

I fully admire a2k's 'palette'! Cool

and yes Oak, its nice to have to stop now and then and say to yourself, "now what the hell did he say????" Rolling Eyes Cool

Cav,,, you watch Corrie do you. It's still a big ratings show in the UK. I haven't watched it for many a long year though.

Bo,,,, Some mental stretching and analysis isn't a bad thing at all then. I carry on in a manner appropriate for the thread.

OAK, wifey got me into it, although we are several months behind from the UK. We watch the Omnibus on Sunday morning, and catch a week's worth over breakfast.

I seem to remember that Corrie is/was quite a friendly or folksy kind of soap. Gentle on the mind and inoffensive to the viewer, but with good characters and excellant interplay.

It's great rival of course is East Enders, which is much more aggressive in every way. I watched it on & off but tired of it after a while as it seemed to me that the story lines & sub plots were getting somewhat repetitive.

"Shut it you! Just Shut it!" Yeah, I do concur that Corrie has better writing, and more complex characters than Eastenders. Tis more friendly indeed, and completely lacking in the pretentions of any American soap...not a bad way to start a Sunday here.
