@Lash,
No the Clintons did not start this movement it was ongoing for generations by the leaders of the Republican party.

Nice try but you should had ran when it came to your attentions that the facts was known not the spin you are trying to put on it.

Take note that to this day and this minute the florida republican party in blocking one in three black men of the state from voting due to felony convictions and the long path they had kept in place to gain their voting rights back.

@BillRM,
LOL, I have to say I love arguing with you about how much credit the Republicans deserve for crimes against black Americans. I agree wholeheartedly.

If you want to argue exactly how much credit the Clintons deserve for their roles, you need to look up the lady who wrote the book The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness. Her name is Michelle Alexander.

Here's a review: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/07/books/michelle-alexanders-new-jim-crow-raises-drug-law-debates.html

The book exists. The opinion exists. You can argue about it if you like. Sort of glad to see you making sure the GOP gets their credit. Wink

Sorry I have no need to read some book written be a woman with some ax to grind against the Clintons as once more my lifespan cover the Republican drive to lock up a large percent of the total black male population of the nation to the point that we have over ten times the numbers of our citizens behind bars then any other western nation and this condition existence long before the Clintons was old enough to vote.

@BillRM,
Your characterization is inaccurate. She has no ax to grind with Clintons. She's fighting institutional racism. You and I know where it started.

It is still alive and healthy.

@Lash,
LOL as if the two ex presidents by the name of Bush or the current Republican government of florida who is doing his best to keep blacks from voting are dead.

Sorry but the sad condition of our black citizens have little to do with anyone in the democratic party living or dead.

@BillRM,
You've fallen prey to the partisanship that keeps our country stupid. There is a wide assortment of people to blame from both major political parties. Why cloak one?

@Lash,
Sorry but the overwhelming harm is being done by those who label themselves as republicans to our black citizens and attempts to cover that up is evil in my opinion.

So that means harm being done by people who aren't Republicans shouldn't be criticized.

I disagree.

@BillRM,
Oh, I see. You weren't really speaking to the issues we were talking about. You were strategically anticipating a connection to voting for Bernie.

No wonder you made no logical sense.

@Lash,
No my problem is your weak attempts to paint Clinton with the same brush as most of the Republican party leadership had been guilty of for generations.

Any poor non white, or blacks or immigrants would be insane to buy into your attempts and vote for anyone running under the flag of the Republican party.

@BillRM,
Lol. I wouldn't vote for any of the current crop of Republicans for any reason.

I'm an Independent voting for a Democratic Socialist.

You wasted a lot of energy behind a misguided assumption.

Hell your friend could not get anything pass congress even if the next election reduce the numbers of republicans in the house and he is completely unfit to deal with foreign affairs or had you not watch his complete lack of knowledge in the debates in that area?

@BillRM,
I'd rather give a chance to the one who I know will do everything he can to rollback the damage that's been done than to hand the keys to the one who's done most of the damage.

@Lash,
Sorry that you and the fox network are in total agreement in the hate Clinton bandwagon but it is still complete nonsense and having someone with zero ability to deal with foreign affairs be it Trump or your candidate could be deadly for all of us and the rest of the world also.

Love the idea given by the English paper the Guardian that we do not need someone as president that had a clue in that area.
