Thanks, Walter. It's good to have the correct information if one is going to be spreading rumours about someone.

Okay, here's the offer. Tell me the picture you would like to have, and I'll print 5X7's for you. Select one or two (3 max), PM your "real" name and home address, and it'll be on its way this week.

Thank yall so much for the narrative about the SF meeting. And, of course, the pictures.
The one I particularly liked was of Tak, George and Francis. It was really eerie. Almost Salvador Dali-like.
I know it may be too early to think about another A2K thing, but putting one of these together is like herding kittens.
How about Albuquerque next spring?

I will concede the point, I guess, Mame. Rene Magritte (1898-1967) Belgian. I was probably asleep in Art History class that day.

René François Ghislain Magritte (November 21, 1898 - August 15, 1967) was a Belgian surrealist artist. He became well known for a number of witty and amusing images.

etc etc... he is a he, not a she Smile Female Renee has two e's, male has one. Very Happy

You think that's confusing, try this name:

Diego Rivera (December 8, 1886 - November 24, 1957), (full name Diego María de la Concepción Juan Nepomuceno Estanislao de la Rivera y Barrientos Acosta y Rodríguez) was a Mexican painter and muralist born in Guanajuato City, Guanajuato. Diego Rivera is perhaps best known by the public world for his 1933 mural, "Man at the Crossroads," in the lobby of the RCA Building at Rockefeller Center.

LOL And there were a couple of his there, too! Very Happy

Hi rjb, We still have some people wishing to come to San Francisco next spring/ summer, so I've been hesitant to mention another venue for now. Several people might still be interested in a Albuquerque meet for next spring, so I would suggest you open up a thread on it.

Yall west coaster's are far too erudite for me, and probably for dys and certainly for gus. I thought that the word play above on "eerie" and Francis' ear was somewhat clever. But no one caught it. I'll go back to the redneck jokes.

That went right over my head, rjb - maybe if you'd come down to my level and spelled it "earie" Smile I would have gotten it. Sometimes you have to bang it into my head.

I'd love to see all of you in ABQ, so if you do a thread about it, I'll certainly keep track of it.

I heard about you on this trip and unfortunately, it was all good (ie, no gossip!)... Smile

rjb, I'm too much of a straight-shooter to "catch" those witty synonym catch phrases.

I didn't know that and did not mean to suggest something competing.
