Take that Newsweek!!!



This video was created as an official response to the Newsweek article calling Grand Rapids a "dying city." We disagreed strongly, and wanted to create a video that encompasses the passion and energy we all feel is growing exponentially, in this great city. It became firmly lodged in my head, but I think, 24 hours later, it is finally fading a bit.

I've never even been there, but the video makes me want to visit. If you watch on youtube, you can read more about the effort and what went into making it. I just thought it was cool that after taking exception to Newsweek's pessimism, they decided to do something about it. Most of us would just grumble and go about our business.
