Prince Gautam, isn't that how they always come?

I think a gorgeous cat could make a huge difference in your life! They lay at your feet until you move, they sleep at your feet until you decide to get out of bed, the know when you're down, they are in sympatico with your emotions, they are with you when you feel least loved, they are always waiting for you to return, they are loyal and always deserving of their crown!

Misti, I agree with almost everything you said. But not with 'they sleep at your feet until you decide to get out of bed'. No, Nisse decides when everybody has to get up. Or at least he tries to make us get up...

And our Prince needs a cat!

Oh, yes! My wife and I can relate to that. Normally, during the work week (Mon to Fri) we get up at 6am, so it's not usually a "problem". When the weekend comes around, and you want to catch just a wee little bit of extra zzzz's, well....haha!

When our guys are being darlings, we get to lie in to close to 7:30am - a real luxury! Otherwise, it's closer to 7am.

Just hate it whe the clock goes ahead 1 hour. Unfortunately, the kitties forget to adjust theirs. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Paddy has turned into our little sooty furry alarm clock and sits on us purring very very loudly early - no need to set the radio alarm. He's a persistent little devil when he thinks you should get up as well.

I'm off to man our exhibition in a while so have to get ready now

Ah, it's the same for all of you. That makes me feel better. I keep thinking these two are soooo spoiled... But then again - they are.

This morning - Sunday! - Nisse started to play with his little rattling plastic mouse in front of the bedroom door at seven or something...

hehe, Our older cat, Kira, has a two-fold strategy. First, she has a peculiar habit as to pulling out the floor heat vent in the bathroom near our bedroom. Makes a nice 'clunk' noise. She has a way of cleverly hooking it out with a claw. If that wasn't effective, sitting on one's chest, while in bed, and starting up the jet engine purr finishes the job off! Laughing

It's interesting that we seem to LOVE being manipulated by these outrageous creatures so much! Encourage them, even. I mean, do we ever show anger when they do these things? Razz

Well, maybe not anger, but a vain attempt to ignore, or say, "Come back later!" Laughing

I wish I had the ability to "take a message and get back to you" attitude Kira has! Laughing Doesn't seem to work both ways....

Nah, forget it. These relationships most definitely are not equal, Reyn. Kira has the upper paw! (Sorry, couldn't resist saying that. So corny! Embarrassed Laughing )
