Don't be embarrassed others will find you silly. You are among similarly afflicted friends!
Send cat poems!

Tell your latest tail .. (oops! ).. tale!
Wax eloquent!
Go for it, A2K cat lovers! Very Happy

Yours in purrs,
& looking forward to your contributions,

Carlotta like to have her tummy scratched just like a dog. She rolls over and purrs and purss when getting a tummy rub.

My tuxedo cat has learned some new tricks while I've been on holiday for the past 2 weeks: Sitting in EXACTLY the right position so his tail rests across the keyboard as I type. I have to move it out of the way constantly.
And also sitting on the phone recorder & pressing the "play" button. I thought this was accidental at first, but he's done it so many times now that I think he's enjoying doing it. Very Happy

Hmmm. Wasn't quite what I was expecting.

That tummy rub is odd anyway. None of my three cats like it, but they do go for the five finger chest massage - and be sure to get under the arms and do a little constructive aeration.

What were you expecting, roger?
You sound as though you're a master of feline massage!
But please explain "constructive aeration"... Are you pulling our collective leg?

Cats in physics

1 - Law of Cat Inertia
A cat at rest will tend to remain at rest, unless acted upon by some outside
force - such as the opening of cat food, or a nearby scurrying mouse.

2 - Law of Cat Motion
A cat will move in a straight line, unless there is a really good reason to
change direction.

3 - Law of Cat Magnetism
All blue blazers and black sweaters attract cat hair in direct proportion to
the darkness of the fabric.

4 - Law of Cat Thermodynamics
Heat flows from a warmer to a cooler body, except in the case of a cat, in
which case all heat flows to the cat.

5 - Law of Cat Stretching
A cat will stretch to a distance proportional to the length of the nap just
taken.

6 - Law of Cat Sleeping
All cats must sleep with people whenever possible, in a position as
uncomfortable for the people involved as is possible for the cat.

7 - Law of Cat Elongation
A cat can make her body long enough to reach just about any counter top that
has anything remotely interesting on it.

8 - Law of Cat Acceleration
A cat will accelerate at a constant rate, until he gets good and ready to
stop.

9 - Law of Dinner Table Attendance
Cats must attend all meals when anything good is served.

10 - Law of Rug Configuration
No rug may remain in its naturally flat state for very long.

11 - Law of Obedience Resistance
A cat's resistance varies in proportion to a human's desire for her to do
something.

12 - First Law of Energy Conservation
Cats know that energy can neither be created nor destroyed and will,
therefore, use as little energy as possible.

13 - Second Law of Energy Conservation
Cats also know that energy can only be stored by a lot of napping.

14 - Law of Refrigerator Observation
If a cat watches a refrigerator long enough, someone will come along and
take out something good to eat.

15 - Law of Electric Blanket Attraction
Turn on an electric blanket and a cat will jump into bed at the speed of
light.

16 - Law of Random Comfort Seeking
A cat will always seek, and usually take over, the most comfortable spot in
any given room.

17 - Law of Bag / Box Occupancy
All bags and boxes in a given room must contain a cat within the earliest
possible nanosecond.

18 - Law of Cat Embarrassment
A cat's irritation rises in direct proportion to her embarrassment times the
amount of human laughter.

19 - Law of Milk Consumption
A cat will drink her weight in milk, squared, just to show you she can.

20 - Law of Furniture Replacement
A cat's desire to scratch furniture is directly proportional to the cost of
the furniture.

21 - Law of Cat Landing
A cat will always land in the softest place possible.

22 - Law of Fluid Displacement
A cat immersed in milk will displace her own volume, minus the amount of
milk consumed.

23 - Law of Cat Disinterest
A cat's interest level will vary in inverse proportion to the amount of
effort a human expends in trying to interest her.

24 - Law of Pill Rejection
Any pill given to a cat has the potential energy to reach escape velocity.

25 - Law of Cat Composition
A cat is composed of Matter + Anti-Matter + It Doesn't Matter.

Littlek you shock me with such harsh words. The poor dear is far to expensive (vet bills) to shoot.

SMC where did you come up with ~~~ those clearly correct catioms.

I love cats so MUCH!

In fact, I love them so much, I like to really help them out, and make them happy.

Did you know cats love to fly?

They do. And I help them.

Particularly, they like to fly off of 10+ story buildings!

They also like to be tricked! Those crazy lil' devils. They LOVE it when you lure them into your car trunk with food, shut the trunk on them, and proceed to do donuts with your car.

Anyone need a catsitter for the weekend?

I have two kitties, one of which thinks he is a dog. He loves to play fetch, and when I'm on the computer he will bring his ball into the office and drop it loudly on the floor, and then sit there and meow until I get up and play with him. He runs very fast to get the ball, and then saunters back with it like he's got all day (oh wait, he's a cat, so I guess he does have all day).

They came from Ulschmid. And LilK, curious minds want to know....so that there will be more food volume to eat, or so that the target to shoot at will be larger?

I know what she means, too. Farmerman, you have no idea what you've gotten yourself into.

Oh, the chest and underarm massage. Just dig your fingers into the chest and vigorously massage the chest muscles. Do the same under the arms (arm pits) to get some air circulation. It's a hard spot for them to reach with their tongues. They will appreciate it.

So.....should I let them have the full story or the three-page brief?

Well, how about an introductory 3 page, with option for full story after that..
