Yes, I certainly hope so, Vivien! But he appears to require medication on a permanent basis, though. Thanks for asking. Smile

Did they also persuade Susanne that they required more food than usual? Razz
Cats are very clever at manipulating innocent folk who feel sorry for them while their owners are away! Sneaky devils! Laughing

No, they were good, msolga. My friend Nicole's four cats always do that and the catsitter feeds them twice the usual! So when she came back from her last vacation, the cats almost exploded! Shocked

Going to go look at a maine coon cat today. Weve had the cattery assure us that their breeding cats are only bred twice in their lives and never within a close line. This will help prevent the cardiomyopathy (as much as in the control of the breeder)

Prevent pet loss. Train your cats well.

Looks like a Russian Blue! One of these days I'll hae to toilet train mine (little Boris)... he's smart enough to figure it out, but he'd probably just want to watch the water swirl around in the bowl afterwards. He loves that.

Paddy is a pretty cat. Mine has no claw's as he is an indoor cat only. When he was little I got clawed way too many time's.

Hi guys! Justed wanted to drop in and say that my wife and I are also "cat people". We have 2 cats that are colored black and white. Very Happy

The older one, Kira, just turned 8 last February. She has medium length fur and has quite a small frame. Her weight is about 7.5 pounds.

Our younger rascal, Kory, was 6 last November. He is a short-haired cat weighing about 14 pounds. We are struggling to make sure he doesn't gain anymore.

When we introduced Kory to our household (both our cats stay indoors), and being a kitten, he loved to harass and play with Kira. She was amazingly tolerant with his playful ways. If it got too much for her, she would simply lie on him. It didn't hurt him, but it sure made him squeal like a "stuck pig"! Laughing

Now that he is bigger than her, unfortunately the tables are turned. He loves to chase and pin her! My wife originally picked him because he was so active when he was kitten. Even then, he was "harrassing" his siblings way back then. Today, he's just as much of a rascal.

I'd love to post some photos of them, but, alas, none that are digital. Hopefully, one of these days, I will be able to rectify that!

Do you have a scanner Reyn? Don't need a digital camera if you do. I would have thought you had one for your collages.

Nope. I'm not sure how much use we would get out of it if we did. Otherwise, I might consider buying one. The images from my collages are copied from the internet to my hard drive. No scanner required.

Hey Reyn, maybe you should conisder an A2K animal collage. I wonder if any of the cats would consider taking you to court. LOL

I knew I liked you, Reyn! Cool

We have a petite longhaired female (Rosie) and a large (read: fat) shorthaired male (Buster.) Your story of Kira and Kory reminded me a lot of my two...they started out exactly the same way. Rosie taught Buster a few tricks when she was the larger kitten that have since come back to haunt her!

Hi ya'll!

Just wanted to let you know that Misti will be home on Monday night after helping my aunt recuperate from lung surgery. All is well ~ she was in intensive care for eight days and was supposed to have gone home today.

I've been cat-sitting Paddy since she left and he is quite happy here. He and Lacey have been fighting for my attention and it's pretty funny. Paddy curls up in bed touching my back and Lacey curls up in bed touching my stomach.....Needless to say, my back is killing me when I get up in the morning.

Have to say though that Paddy has come around quite a bit. He is so much more affectionate than I've ever known him to be and while I haven't let him wrap me around his paw, I do let him know how happy I am to have him here and he's grown accustomed to MY way of doing things.

On a side-note.....Mom is fine. She's very tired. It's difficult taking care of two adults ~ with my aunt coming out of major surgery and my uncle getting accustomed to being completely blind, Mom has her hands full. I'm sure she's looking forward to coming back home and catching up with all of you.

Just wanted to get everyone up to date.

Rae

P. S. If anyone needs to contact me, my new email is [email protected].

Laughing Laughing Laughing Ooooh! Ala, the other collage. Well, I doubt if the cats would mind, but then you have to consider some owners, I guess.... Rolling Eyes

I could always put Howdy heads on them.... Laughing
