Olga, I know you love them. That's why I provide Mikey updates. As for being made for each other. Not sure how to take that. :-D

Well, Roberta, to me you & Mikey are like one of those constantly bickering relationships were things are never dull. Things fly, constant high jinks, explosive situations! ... Never a dull moment! Laughing But underneath all that there's an understanding: You secretly ENJOY him being so ornery & he obliges! A match made in heaven!
How's that?

I've just spent a week with a docile creature - and she was b-o-r-i-n-g! No fun and games; no tricks; no conversation; no wrestling.

Home now and Poss won't talk to me....ho hum!!!

Outrage for Flat Cat & msolga this morning:

I wondered what the hissing & commotion was in the kitchen, so rushed in to see: A fat, grey little tabby attempting to eat Flatty's breakfast! Shocked What a nerve! Evil or Very Mad The first time anything like that has happened here. I hope it doesn't master the cat door!

How's that? Dead on.

Margo, So Possum is pissed? He'll get over it.

Olga, A stranger in your midst? You mean a miscellaneous cat just wandered into your house? I remember a friend (who lived in a house) telling me about her cat's friends and how they would be in her house, visiting and eating. From your description, it doesn't sound like this was a friend of Flattie's. Just some freeloader.

Are you sure Flattie didn't invite him/her in? Perhaps he was wanting some company! You don't expect an invited guest to eat everything in sight! Smile

Yeah - Poss got over it - I was home all day Sunday, so he got plenty of attention! Talk about a bossy-boots!

Been down the coast for a few days - just loafing, with the occasional swim! It's been too hot to go outside during the day!

Back to work today Crying or Very sad

Margo, I knew he'd forgive you. They always forgive us. Some take a bit longer than others. You went swimming!? There's still ice and snow on the ground here from the last storm. Enjoy your summer.

Actually, I had to put him up there. He kept looking up and pacing infront of the closet. He would have tried to get up there himself and might have ruined clothes while he climbed. He had that wild-cat look in his eyes though. Funny little guy.

I'm certain, margo. This cat was most definitely invited in! He's feral, I think Shocked & he might have been the source of some of Flatty's "war wounds" in the past. Could explain why Flatty was hissing at him. The noive! Evil or Very Mad

So you grovelled & cajoled & fed him all his favourite snacks & made rash promises never to leave home again & let him sleep on YOUR spot on the bed & then gave him another snack, hey margo? Laughing
