Aw, bigdice, they miss urs, obviously! Very Happy I can understabd that!
Reminds me of a cranky old tabby I once had who just adored me (it was mutual! Very Happy ) When I'd pack my little VW for a trip to the country to see my family he'd jump in, so's he could come to! Loved that cat!

Roger

What a ravishing kitten Barney was! (I'm a sucker for black cats! Very Happy )
So now this tiny little critter is now Mr Big? He must be VERY impressive. You MUST get a photograph & post it! Very Happy

Flatty left a little surprise for me , which I almost stood on in the dark this morning ..... A tiny, little mouse. He obviously just killed it for sport, hadn't eaten any of it. <shudder>

Roger, Such a cute little guy. And everything is relative re size. Sixteen pounds is positively petite compared to Mikey.

Olga, Sorry to hear that Flattie is snuffling again. Is he on antibiotics again? Poor guy.

Bigdice, Screaming their heads off. Sounds like opinionated, demanding cats. In short--typical felines.

One of my cats left a mouse-core in a housemate's bedroom. He stepped on it with bare feet in the dark.

You CAN imagine a mouse-core, can't you?

Yes, poor baby. Sad But I think the vet lowered the dose too early this time. I'll have to ring him this morning to advice. <sigh>

Has Mikey mastered the computer yet, Roberta? I predict that a HUGE cat novel is on the way! Laughing

Olga, Sorry to hear that Flattie is still on meds. Sigh.

Mikey and I had a brief but heated tug of war earlier. The damned mouse pad again. I hate to break it to you, but Mikey isn't all that literate. A huge novel? Probably not. Maybe a short story. Or a page. Well, maybe a sentence.

Yeah, Roberta, he's a worry. The vet now has him on some anti-allergy pills. Poor thing! Sad

Maybe you should buy him his own little mouse pad, Roberta? To do with what ever he chooses. Twisted Evil That might bring a little peace. But I think you secretly enjoy all this! Laughing

Roger ~ I'm so glad that Barney passed his test ~ I've lost one cat to leukemia and it was devastating.

Diane ~ I really think you and Bob should consider getting a very young kitten and introducting it to Fred immediately. The younger they are, the more apt they are to consider another pet part of the family. The best you can hope for is that Fred will take command and keep the little one in its place. Please, please, please get a kitten!

Olga ~ sorry as well to hear that Flattie is still on meds. I'm praying for him.

Our cats, Paddy and Lacey, were beside themselves with confusion this past weekend when I brought my dog to visit (ex has custody of her). But they were back to normal by the time I got back from bringing my dog home to the ex.

Diane ~ please get a kitten!!!!!

Thank you, Rae. He needs all the help he can get at the moment. I hope the vet's right & it is an allergy & the drugs work. The constant sneezing is driving him nuts, poor thing! Sad

Ah, peace restored for Paddy & Lacey! Very Happy But you must miss your dog now, yes?

Yes ma'am, I always miss my Maggie. We just can't have her here ~ we're already breaking the rules by having two cats ~ we're only allowed one.

But, whenever I see my son, I always see and spend precious time with Maggie ~ I can hear her barking several blocks away as I'm approaching her house ~ she tries very hard to break the door down to get to me!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww, Rae. It's LOVE! Very Happy

When I drove a funny, bright yellow VW, some years ago, my cats could hear me coming from miles away, it seems .... By the time I parked outside the house they'd all be at the front gate, meowing their welcomes. Nice. Very Happy

Olga querida, You know as well as I do that giving Mikey his own mousepad won't solve anything. He doesn't want the mousepad for its own sake. He wants the mousepad because I'm using it.

As for greetings. I can come home, get undressed, get comfortable, and never see a sign of Mikey. He may come moseying out if I have a snack. Now doesn't that warm the cockles of your heart?

But he certainly makes his presence felt once you're at the keyboard! Laughing

Yeah, I confess, Roberta .... I DO know perfectly well it won't make an ounce of difference. Very Happy But he's so funny! I LOVE these Mikey stories!
I think you two were made for each other! Very Happy
