It's something I had been expecting for a while, and I already worked through a lot of the lingering stuff (with the help of people here, thanks) with Jasmine's death. I guess I can think of it as finally ending the era of my dad possessing something of mine... not worrying about what he is doing or not doing.
I like his dogs fine, but they're totally, totally his.
Then again, he's said he wants to babysit the sozlet...
Cross that bridge when I come to it.
