Thank you, Cinder is a talker, all he does from the moment he sees you until the moment you leave the room (if he isn't chasing Ella that is) is talk talk talk and he follows me around so much. He is such a good cat, we have had him since 8 weeks... he thinks he is half dog, half human... you can hold him however you want (I hold him like a little baby and pet his tummy), he is very good and he listens to you. I.E. if I say, get down. he is down in an instant, etc..

Ella on the other hand (get in CinderElla!! hahaha) isn't as friendly as Cinder, she will play with you all day but when it comes to getting cuddley, don't count on it! If she wants to sit on you she will, but if she doesn't want to and you even try tp pick her up, she scratches ya pretty good! But she is a good kitty!

If I feed and house a cat and it scratches me when I try to pick it up, it's going to find out just how much I've learned over the years by going to my daughter's soccer practices.

It's the weekend, and we got to sleep in to 7:19am!

Don't need an alarm, we've got cats! Laughing

Haha, Reyn! Nisse woke me up at five this morning but then he allowed me to go back to sleep.

He is also a big talker. When I am on the phone with my friend Nicole, he always joins me and talks and talks. Nicole has four cats and they don't talk half as much as he does. Especially, when he decides it is time for dinner :-) We usually have long conversations about that...

Paddy wakes me up too, he talks to me, if that doesn't work, he'll jump over me as he's talking, if that doesn't work he gets louder and louder. He only wants me to open the door so he can go out on the porch, so finally I must give in because I can't sleep anyway with him yacking, then he's happy, he'll stay out there for a long time, then come in to let me know it's time to get up for work!

What would I do without him?

Yup, we've got one of those! Kory, our male cat can be very yacky, especially near mealtimes. Quite impatient.

Kira, our female cat is much more laid back and dignified. She usually lets Kory do the "dirty work" by letting him wake us up. That way, she can be the "good kitty". Laughing

Generally, both our kitties are fine Monday to Friday when we get up at 6am, but come the weekend, it's heaven if we get to sleep in as late as 7:00 to 7:30am!

I hate when the time goes ahead one hour. Really messes up humans and felines!

Monkey see, monkey do?

Our youngest cat, Sally, has been with us for 10 months.

My older cat, Tabby, took a LONG time to accept Sally. They still have confrontations, but tolerate each other on the most part.

Sally is a water bowl swisher. She uses her paw to vigorously swish the water and it sloshes outside the bowl. I'm constantly cleaning up pools of water after Sally is done. She also loves to help daddy shave and help mommy with the dishes. When the water tap is running, she's right there to swish her paw under the running water. Crazy, water-loving cat.

Recently, I noticed that my old Tabby is starting to use her paw to swish around the water in the water bowl? What the heck? She never did this before. Is this a case of monkey see, monkey do? It amazes me that an old cat would learn something new (a bad habit) by watching an imitating another cat.

I'll have you know that my young cat, Sally, is mommy's little helper. Yesterday, for instance, she diligently helped me with the laundry and ironing. She never left my side.

She leapt into the clothes basket and helped me fold socks and undies. She dangled from the clothes to help stretch them out across the ironing board and chased out all the tangles in the electric cord of my iron. After several hours of helping mommy, she crawled inside an empty clothes basket and took a long nap. So precious . . . .

Sally decided to help mommy with the new house plant . . . she furiously aerated the roots by flinging dirt all over the place. She's such a busy, energetic cat: so full of life and enthusiasm about everything. She loves to help. You should see how delightful she is when she helps mommy curl her hair . . . she digs her paws into the roller bag and pulls them out for me!

Sally's energy and helpfulness around the house is boundless! Smile
