@Reyn,
I could be wrong, but their natural height is about forty feet. Tall and straight, except at the top.

I can see why you topped yours!

1274a. There is an apartment sitting above a ten year resident's apartment that has problems with bathroom water leaking down. Over the years (yep. years.) I have replaced much of the floor. The toilet has been reset with new wax. The tub has had the overflow gasket replaced twice. There is a water shield on the corner of the tub to keep water from running to the floor. Recently, we took out Sheetrock and replaced the tub drain, because it was cracked and let out the occasional drip of water. The water that leaks down runs through the ceiling and out at the ceiling fan, about once a week. It cannot be blamed on the bathing habits of the current residents, specifically, because it happens after one moves out and another in. And yet it has to occur when they take showers. They do not fill the tub and sit in it, they say. Today I am going up there and instead of wasting an hour trying to get it to leak, so that I can take action, I am going go armed with tubes of silicone. I am going to seal every crack in the bathroom, so that water on the floor and side of the tub gets trapped into puddling the upstairs floor. At least the resident would have to mop it up. Will it work? Does the Pope **** purple turds?
1275a. I can't get over how wonderfully I was treated yesterday. The best birthday I have ever had.
1276a. Intended to check out the NBC first episode of Revolution last night. Forgot it was on. I tuned in the last twenty minutes. Non-stop sword fighting, shooting and such. I doubt it will be a must watch, but I will tune in a time or two, just in case it has a storyline and interesting characters.

A lot of folks, including myself, care about you. You're a nice guy to have around the place! Wink Very Happy

This one character was killing them by twos and threes with his sword. Finally, the leader of the hapless fighters became exasperated enough to tell the men with guns, "Shoot him." These guys with bullets had been standing idly by as the guy slaughtered their compatriots. Waiting for orders to act. I understand that we can't have stirring scenes of swordplay if one side is shooting at the other and its not as colorful. But why have guns at all in such a scene? Not a good beginning for a new show.

@edgarblythe,
I've seen the listing for that show, but haven't as yet tuned in. I view all new shows with suspicion. I hate investing time into a show, if I don't think it's going to be around long. Been stung a few times.

Will keep my eyes open for it and check out if there's nothing else. Wink

1277a. Woke with some soreness in my neck. Checked for two holes, just in case. Nope. Just old age. It should work itself out as the day progresses.
1278a. Earworm of the morning: song by Fats Domino.
1279a. Go to Mars, young man.
1280a. Fall is in the air. My truck was covered by leaves yesterday. 60s and even 50s for overnight lows. Nights are much longer now.

To show the revolution taking place in weaponry.

1281a. My browser lost Adobe Flash Player. I have reinstalled it three times, unsuccessfully. If I switch to Chrome, Flash Player works. I don't want to use Chrome, because the driver to it crashed on my last computer. I no longer trust it. Plus, I have problems navigating, using Chrome.
1282a. Happy Birthday to ragman today. He deserves to have a great day, as did I, on the 17TH.
1283a. We get a new hand at work today. He seems pretty sharp, but we will quickly dull him down. Laughing
1284a. Had a censor replaced on the truck yesterday, to a tune of about $325. The mechanic said it was the main one to the engine. I had thought it to be a fuel system problem, because, when it failed to start, a good shot of carburetor cleaner got it going, if just barely.

Huh? How can a browser lose a program?

Do you mean it got corrupted?

@edgarblythe,
thank you kindly. It's all good. I've heard from family and friends with whom I'm not in touch with that much. Smiling all the while!

The odd thing, it worked a couple of times in between the times it is not working at all.

1285a. Using Chrome. At least everything works.
1286a. It isn't odd at all that atheists like music classified as religious. Religion likes to dip down into our recesses to solidify its hold over the emotions.
1287a. People often down Texas for being full of idjits. But, if all the idjits lived in Texas, the Tea Party and folks of the cut of Gov. Perry would not hold approximately 50% of the national vote.
1288a. mrs edgarblythe just called to inform me, all the traffic lights are out. Must be a blown transformer somewhere, or else a wayward car brought down one of the poles.

@edgarblythe,
Be careful out there with those lights out! My experience is that other drivers aren't so careful with the 4 way stop procedure.

I think I'd like to hear some more Punky the dog stories ... but only if you feel so inclined, of course, edgar.
