If pm stands for private message then who besides the intended recipient is reading them? I have my doubts as to their privacy.

Is there something specific you can point to that gives you doubts about the privacy of PMs here?

So the truth comes out! Now, why didn't the mods tell me about this? All PMs containing any discussion of me are supposed to be rerouted directly to my inbox.

What happened to our deal, Jespah?! Well??

This site seems to be pretty reliable. There are other sites I would question more than this one with regard to my privacy.

Still, as others have said, there aren't any guarantees.

Hmmmmm...I can just see it on the enormous Moderators' To Do List:

1. (*Highest Importance!)

Read all PMs, no matter how numerous, boring, inane, eye-straining and brain breaking.

This duty will be performed daily by all Mods, before any attempts are made to get rid of spam, answer help desk queries, feature or de-feature threads, attend to members' queries, attend to outbreaks of murder and mayhem on threads, or have a life.

tth, I'm not sure what your situation is but could it possibly be coincidence or someone blabbing the message to another?

For me, it's usually paranoia for sure. I can't say what the answer would be in this case. It's time for me to mind my own business I suppose.

If you have something specific, give links to whatever you saw to the Mods/Admin via the Help Desk and ask for explanation.

I agree, Timber ... it has promise.

But it would help if TTH would spill her guts.
